Good value for money. Pretty decent room. Extra points for the tiny fridge. Only negative I found was the shower. Water temperature fluctuated and the showerhead itself was the fixed-on-the-wall kind which I don't prefer for better hygiene.

Great location for visiting the city. We arrived and the car park was full, not many spaces at all for the hotel. We found parking at the railway station which was then a 10 minute walk to hotel but an easy walk. Room was clean. Felt a bit small compared to competitor hotels. Was expecting a double but got a twin room no great issue as just needed a base. Not a great sleep mattress soft in the middle, pillows were soft and broken we made do as we didn’t book for luxury and just needed somewhere to sleep for the night. We didn’t use any of the other amenities

Hotel was fine. Walking distance of the train station and the city centre. Was clean and tidy. Checked in online so had very little interaction with staff. Was quite expensive though.....

We stayed on a Friday night. Loud techno music played until midnight from under our floor, shaking the windows and picture frames, making sleep before our 4am start the next morning very difficult. The air conditioning was broken, the water in the shower kept wildly varying temperatures from scolding to freezing and back without touching the dial. Parking at the hotel was full, so we had to walk two blocks in the rain to a nearby parking station.

Fabulous
Wonderful hotel next to the river. Very welcoming staff held our bags for us so we could see the town. Upon check in complementary upgraded our room. Large corner room with great view of the cathedral with couch and desk.

No warm welcomes here
Quite an ugly front of the building. Not a very warm welcome. Handed the room card, with a letter about breakfast times etc. no warm welcome or information. The bedrooms seem very dark both interior and lighting. The tv’s did not work, apparently the hotel are aware of this. Breakfast, everything is self service, even finding a seat/table. Feels very low budget hotel but was actually quite an expensive stay. The plus point is the location of the hotel, it’s a 9 minute walk from the railway station and a 4 minute walk to the city centre. Would I stay in this hotel again……..no.

Disappointing, would not return.
The hotel is in a good location, the room was a good size and was clean. However there were big issues with the parking. The hotel car park was full, they sent me to the ncp which was also full. I had to pay £18 to park for 6 hours in a different car park, then move the car for the evening and pay £18 to park in the ncp. This was disappointing. There was a television in the room but it could not receive any channels, there was a Chromecast attached but I couldn't connect to it. The shower had a loose tile so is probably leaking. The window would not properly close so there was a constant whistling all night from the wind entering through the gap. (This was not external noise as it would disappear if I opened the window). The rooms are not well soundproofed. We were kept awake by the next room and perhaps a club outside (music at 130am on a Sunday). The hotel information said the bar was open until 12. We came in at 11:15 hoping for a nightcap and it had closed. I don't usually leave poor reviews but this was a premium price for a hotel which did not provide the facilities advertised.
