Slightly Disappointing
The room was clean and basic. Had a nice private bathroom with shower and in a quiet neighborhood. In our opinion the stay was significantly overpriced and when booking, it was not clear we would be getting a room in someone’s family house. The breakfast was highly disappointing at the additional cost of €15pp, which was steep for a pastry and average quality food. The place felt like an amateur air bnb style room in a shared family home, rather than a professional bed and breakfast stay. I cannot complain too much about the stay, it was just disappointing for the money charged.

Nice and peaceful location, the rooms are organized on the second floor and share the bathroom. The B&B has friendly hosts that are quick to respond. We stayed here for one night on a biking trip and our bikes were safely stored in the garage. Everything was very clean. The continental breakfast had all the ingredients we wish for.

Very friendly, clean and good breakfast. Quiet, but needs signs Loteling, on the house or in the street. Disadvantage that you have to climb 2 stairs

Rien sur le site ne laissait entendre que c'était au 2° étage. Si nous l'avions su, nous n'aurions pas réserver. De plus il fallait se déchausser en arrivant, donc pour moi risque de glisser dans les escaliers. Pas de produit douche, seulement une savonnette.

Het was fantastisch om bij deze gastheer en gastvrouw te verblijven. Hun gastvrijheid en verzorging was heel attent en goed. Een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt en wij konden zelfs een lunchpakket bij boeken. Een mooie ruime kamer op de zolderverdieping met prachtig sanitair. Wij als wandelaars van de GR5 hebben hier prima overnacht. Enig nadeel: op loopafstand is diner niet gemakkelijk. Onze oplossing: op de route in de middag uitstekend dineren in Cafe Trappisten Westmalle. Daarna vervolg nog ong.60 min. lopen naar De Loteling. Wij bevelen deze overnachting zeer aan.

Heel vriendelijke mensen en zeer behulpzaam. Ik was met een blessure tijdens mijn voettocht uitgevallen en kon niet verder lopen. Er was geen vervoer naar de B&B naar een telefoontje heeft de eigenaar mij meteen zijn auto opgehaald, top.
