Excursions by boat: Enjoy unique panoramic landscape of the islands. There are 13 islands in this archipelago northwest of Dubrovnik but only three Elaphiti are inhabited: Kolocep, Lopud, Sipan. To see all three major Elaphiti you should consider taking a private tour to Islands Cruise by a midsize boat which includes a picnic on the boat. The places you'll see can be approached by sea only. JULIAN RACHLIN & FRIENDS” FESTIVAL: Can you imagine the honor extended to the citizens of Dubrovnik by Julian Rachlin, one of the world-famous violinists when, during his guest performance at the Dubrovnik Summer Festival in the year 2000, he came up with the idea of organizing a festival of chamber music in their city And the idea has not remained merely an idea, but became reality when master Rachlin brought to Dubrovnik many of his fellow musicians, including some of the most prominent names of classical music like the cellist Maischea Maisky or violinist Janine Jansen, pianist Itamar Golan, cornist Radovan Vlatkovic. Enchanted with the atmosphere of the historic town centre, the most beautiful stage for playing music, Rachlin and his friends perform for Dubrovnik’s audience year after year, thus creating a festival that, in addition to the friendly atmosphere, offers its visitors a high quality experience, incomparable to any similar music event.
