Another pleasing stay at the Park Lodge - staff are always friendly and accommodating, room is clean and warm. Particularly like the addition of a coffee machine in the room with various pods to choose from.

Was dated and overpriced so we forfeited our money and stayed next door at the western isles hotel. Still not luxury but twice as good as park Lodge hotel in our opinion and it was correctly priced for what it was.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was great especially the catch of the day. It is just a flight of stairs up from the harbor and a way from the business of the tourists in the h arbor. A great starting point to local trails.

I would have given 5 stars… but the mattress was the worst mattress in the history of mattress in room 10. The springs were completely worn out, had dips in it so bad you would roll off. And the noise of the worn out springs! Oh it was a tiny double/ full. After 2 hrs I had enough. I finally went down stairs (no one there). I called and someone called me back. We were able to change rooms and it was fantastic. The mattress had a nice topper, was a regular double size, and didn’t make noise. The staff was great. In fact the lady who checked us in was the nicest and most helpful person I’ve met in a month of my travels. She even called to get us reservations. The breakfast was good also. I’m not much on the traditional UK breakfast, but I had pancetta and scrambled eggs that was delicious! Parking and walking is a breeze.

We had a brilliant stay, it was the final place we stayed on a road trip and was definitely a highlight. The bed was comfortable, the room was in great condition, brilliant breakfast and a great location. Just be aware the road up to the hotel is quite narrow.
