recently stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Kent, Ohio, and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The location is fantastic—easy to find and close to both Kent State University and Akron, making it convenient for exploring the area. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every detail of my stay was perfect. My room was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed, including a cozy bed and fast Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast in the morning, which offered a nice selection to start my day. For the price, this hotel is an excellent value. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet comfortable place to stay in the Kent area. I’ll be back next time I’m in town!”

Checking in is always easy but their staff is not that friendly a few front desk people were pretty friendly but 1 woman everytime I go she’s very short makes you feel like your a inconvenience to her and 1 of the housekeepers seemed like she had an attitude cause I choose to stay another night other than that I enjoy my stay at super 8.

Beds were comfy, hotel stunk horribly of stale smoke although it was a non smoking hotel. Short stay so met our needs for the price.

Fast check in process room was clean but definitely needed some deep cleaning. Was an empty bag and a ketchup packet behind the nightstand a lil dusty on top of like lamps. Bed was super comfy. They are remolding so it was a lil noisy in the morning with all the renovations going on, but I understand that’s the only time they can do them. You are allowed to have pets and the people across the hall their dog barked a little bit more than I would like to hear, but overall, I would give it a strong eight out of 10 stars

It's got a different feel to it, almost like being on vacation when I was a wee lad. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the price is very fair. I've stayed in A LOT of hotels, and when I say this is one of the best in the area, I'm not lying. I am just saying it's worth more than they asking, and the beds had me in a level 9 deep sleep... Level 9 y'all!!
