The Sunset Inn was a great place to stay. The front desk, staff, and other guests were friendly! The room was comfortable and spacious. The entire property was clean and well-kept. Our small dog was welcomed. The only things that could have made it a bit more convenient for us was to have a little grass for our dog to go potty, a coffee pot in the room, and more exterior lighting on the parking lot! We would definitely stay here again on our next road trip!

Older property and a bit run down but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The gentleman at the front desk was making waffles and breakfast burritos if you wanted them

This is one of the most affordable hotels in Alamosa. It’s not fancy. But, it’s clean, comfortable, has friendly and helpful staff, and is super close to Adams State University. The breakfast is basic but has fresh waffles. We’ve now stated there twice.

This mom&pop, built in 2017 according to the owner, is in excellent condition inside and out. But, the rooms cost 3/4ths what franchise places cost in Alamosa and they cut a few corners. Only blinds on the windows, the smallest bar of soap (but you could ask for more), good quiet A/C, a nice but more limited breakfast. Very clean, spartan, neat. The only complaint was that the pillows were like a sack of sand. I'd stay there again.

Site indicates a hot breakfast which is deceiving as its actually only waffles and bagels M-F and eggs and potatoes Saturday and Sunday. Cats running the hallways not sure they belong to, perhaps staff? However its just not professional! They have a marked emergency exit locked with a sign that say" sorry of the inconvenience" its a fire exit and that is a code and safety violation and needs to be unlocked and useable. The guy that works a night obviously doent want to be there and it shows, has very bad demeanor.

The staff there were super nice! They kindly accepted our late check in. They treated us in a very polite way! When we left the inn, we forgot our phone charger and the housekeeper ran out of the building and sent the charger back to us.
