This Motel 6 is just a rundown hotel. It is clearly needing some maintaining. The walls are paper thin and so is the ceiling. There was no shampoo or hair dryer (I found out the second day that there was supposed to be shampoo/conditioner/lotion - they just hadn't left us any). It was incredibly overpriced for the Balloon Fiesta. This hotel should never be more than $100 per night even during the busiest times. Price gouging at its finest. There is no refrigerator, however there was one working ice machine. The lobby was falling apart as much as the rooms - broken front doors that have clearly been "fixed' for awhile. With plexiglass that is also broken and clear tape. The towels were stained and the pillows were flat. The reasons this hotel gets two stars instead of one? The people and the cleanliness. The people were very pleasant and helpful and the whole place smells like it has been thoroughly bleached and there were no bugs or pests of any kind.

Close to Balloon Ascension, Little Rough But Safe
The balloon ascension was close enough to watch some from a distance in the parking or a long walk closer. Staff was friendly. No shower curtain, and the door to the shower had a hole in it where someone had kicked it. The front door glass was taped up. It was a little rough looking, but fine for the $, and I didn't have any safety issues.

Great place to keep my stuff while I worked. Beds are a bit firm but didn't bother me after an 18 hour work day. Shower and water pressure were great. Maid came in and gave me fresh towels, made the bed and took the trash. No fridge or microwave in the room. Just a community microwave down stairs in the lobby. otherwise was an inexpensive place to stay and got the job done.

I always stay at this hotel. The staff is always kind and go out of their way to help. However no microwaves in the rooms so you have to go downstairs to the front to warm anything up.
