Chose this as a spot to stay to break up a longer trip - the location was perfect for us, and the room was clean and comfortable and the staff welcoming and helpful. I would definitely return next time I do a Sydney Melbourne drive.
There was a gathering of sports car enthusiasts at the hotel on Friday night. One of them decided to rev up his car around 7am the next morning with no regard for the people staying in the hotel. I had to complain to the person at reception who explained that they were old cars which required "revving up". This was on top of our neighbours in Room 11, who decided to have a party at 1:30am. I knocked on the door to complain but the noise continued for several hours. This issue was also conveyed to the person at reception, who expressed surprise because they had a baby. We have never had a problem at the hotel on our previous stays. Somehow the type of people staying there has changed for the worse.
Quirky in a good way that stands apart from the crowd. Exceptional dining room staff, and receptionist. Don’t be put off by the faux medieval theme, just accept it in good fun and enjoy the experience.
I have stayed here a couple of times. Very comfortable, food really nice and very friendly staff. Not your ordinary motel - it has lots of appeal if you are looking for something a bit different. Location great with an amazing farmers market straight opposite.

Back at the Manor again, great stay again as always. Beds are a little firm for my liking but that is a personal opinion. Otherwise the team here and hotel are awesome
Tudor themed manor with large room, comfy bed and smart TV. Restaurant meal was delicious and reasonably priced. Will be back

The staff and family owners went above and beyond to make my stay very happy and comfortable. My dinner was great and served in my room after a lovely swim and spa...
I will definitely stay there again...
Thank you 🙏 Albury Manor House
Waling in to reception to see suits of armour was quite a surprise! I really enjoyed the quirkiness. Room was spacious and clean and the location was great.
We had Room 108 at the back overlooking a small car park and trees. The main road was audible with the window open (restricted). This was quirky room but then it is a crazy hotel with a fake "tudor" theme and dark wood furniture and two suits of Armour no less ! I thought it was quite fun. Our room continued the theme with black furnishings and the biggest polished headboard I have ever seen along with matching drawer unit and included gold curtains and even more gold trim net curtains (in need of a good wash) and a gold paint decorated corner plasterwork on the ceiling (pity the embellishment wasn't continued around the frieze! This room was not for the faint-hearted! The rather heavy black throw contained a duvet and it all looked like it could do with a good wash as I can't imagine the throw being changed for every guest. The room and bathroom were adequate. We ate dinner downstairs and had the Salmon which was delicious but topped up with extra chips and salad. This hotel is a pseudo half-timbered property with a dark interior. However, I thought it worked and if they had some inglenook fireplaces I guess it could be quite cosy on a wet winter's day.
