We needed a last minute stay. Found this location and it was a very nice and quiet place. Bed was comfy and the room was very clean. Breakfast had a nice array of selections as well. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

The hotel staff was great. The area around the hotel was so-so. The property is a little hilly which can be difficult for someone in a wheel chair to get from the car to the lobby. The shower stalls are slippery. The beds were too high and it is difficult for someone with mobility issues to get in and out of bed. This seems to be a common problem in all hotels. Also the AC control displey panels had issues and determining what the temperature setting was couldn't be determined.

The front desk staff can make or break a stay. The front desk staff were incredibly efficient, dedicated and very welcoming. The room was quite large, clean and updated. Thank you so much for a great stay!

About what I expected
The man at the check in was awesome. Very knowledgeable about the area and very friendly. Our room was on the 4th floor. When entering the room it had a slight smell. I could smell it more than my wife and thought is smelled like cigarettes. Seem to come from the restroom. Later I also noticed that while in the bathroom you could hear conversations from another room through the bathroom vent. I’m thinking someone was using that vent to blow smoke out of their room and it may have caused some into our room. I don’t smoke so I’m more sensitive to it than my wife. It wasn’t bad enough to ask for a different room . The room was clean. Great location for going to Mount Vernon, only 8 minutes away. Only other issue I saw was that the metal cover around the shower handle was loose. None of this was a deal breaker and would stay here again if in town.
