This place was very centrally located to all the things we wanted to see and do. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good except for the waffles - they were tough.

Nice place to stay for visiting the Keweenaw!
We love staying at this hotel. Great location for going to various locations on the Keweenaw Peninsula! Clean, friendly staff, and comfy bed. The only thing I would change is to have the sauna set a little warmer.

Some good, some bad.
It was a very pleasant 3 nights for the most part. The suite was very large and comfortable. The breakfasts were very good. The neighborhood was old and had seen hard times but is coming back. We felt safe walking our dog in the area. the lobby coffee was very good and it was kept fresh. We only had 2 disappointments. The hotel does not have an elevator. We were on the second floor and it became very inconvenient to go for coffee, take the dog for a walk or get ice from the first floor. The second problem was the very slow WI-FI. I clocked it at less than 3 meg. That's nowhere near suitable for any thing but email and print sites.We don't watch TV when traveling. The internet is more important to us so the super slow wi-fi was a real negative. Everything else was great.

Staff rocks!
Staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. We weren’t sure if carpet was recently cleaned, or just wet. Was a bit of a smell, but nothing that kept us from staying.

Nice place to stay in Calumet
Everything was acceptable. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room and hotel was clean, the breakfast was adequate. My only hesitation would be: our room was on the second floor and there was not elevator to get there. In my opinion that should be stated when the reservation is made because not everyone is able to carry their luggage up a flight of stairs. We explored Calumet and found it a cute town. We enjoyed the gift shops and ice cream store,
