The location is perfect, so convenient. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is excellent, featuring a very good shower. The balcony is not functional. The staff is easy to communicate with. All of them provided information about the coast and made dinner reservations for us.

Amalfi Perfection

We chose Amalfi as our home base for five days and La Bambagina was the perfect home away from home. Newly renovated, the rooms were well appointed and the bed extra comfortable. And, you’re steps away from the action with easy ferry access to the rest of the Amalfi Coast.

La Bambagina exceeded all our expectations. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of Amalfi with a balcony view that opens directly to the stunning Amalfi Cathedral and the bustling main square. Steps away from the waterfront The service was outstanding even before we arrived, easy check -in & check-out. Staff were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The room was immaculately clean, stylish, and modern, yet felt incredibly cozy. Despite being in a lively area, the room was peaceful and quiet at night — perfect for a good night’s rest. We truly felt at home and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend booking here for an unforgettable Amalfi experience!

It was a great location, a parking option was offered which was a discounted rate. There was lots of noise in the room below us they were doing building renovations which was not ideal.

Location, location, location

The host greeted us at the door after a 22 hour travel day and got us into our room right away. This hotel is in the perfect location. Very convenient, accessible and in close proximity to shopping, restaurants, etc.

This property is a must for anyone traveling with family. I traveled with an 8 month old baby and they were very accommodating. They offered us transport to the hotel from napels/salerno, for a fee of course, and offered free bag service from the port/bus station to the hotel. At arrival, they offered us coffee and expedited check in since we had been travling for a few days. All they asked for was a pic of our passports and they took care of the rest - this is typical for hotels outside the US. Rooms were very clean and with plenty of pillows and towels. Waterfall shower and towel warmer - which we couldnt figure out how to use. The reception offered many options for dining/activities and was very responsive via whatsapp. Rooms were big and cosy considering the area and also very affordable. Location was 2 minutes from the port of Amalfi and overlooking the fountain - although the view was just a bit occluded due to a building in the way. If i ever get a chance to go back to amalfi, i would definitely stay here again.

La Bambagina was great! Room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond to help us when we checked in late. They only issue was we rented a car and had to pay extra for the parking spot. That was not a problem, but when they picked up the car, we had to have cash to pay them. Luckily, we had taken cash out. It would’ve been more convenient if they took a card and we knew exactly the price for the parking spot before we picked up our car. Other than that, I highly recommend this location!
