Property had renovations which started at 7am, banning, drilling and loud voices. Heat in the room did not work, was offered portable heater. I wouldn’t recommend this property for the money I paid for this crappy room

Always a great time in Amsterdam
My third visit to Amsterdam and second stay at Hotel Roode de Leeuw!!! The perfect location for exploring Amsterdam!!! Our room was beautiful and had a charming balcony with city views! Can’t wait to visit again! The front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful with restaurants and tour recommendations!! Thank you for the great trip!

When we checked in we were concerned about construction scaffolding around building. We were lied to by manager on duty who said they were washing windows & there would be no Noise :. We were awakened @ 7 :00 with banging drilling concrete removal installing windows. Men were working right outside our windows.

Myself and my husband stayed for one night when visiting a friend. The location was perfect the price was comparable with the area. They have dining options however we did not use so can not rate. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room lovely and clean and the coffee maker was a fantastic extra that you don't always get, and very nice coffee too. I also like the digital displays outside of the room for do not disturb etc. We will definitely recommend and hope to return. Thank you 😊

A. Hotel under construction just outside our room. Drilling began @ 7:00AM - had not been informed prior to arrival, nor at the check in desk. Terrible conditions - when we complained - answer was “it’s on our web site!” B. Terrible lighting in room and bathroom.

El hotel esta muy bonito, limpio, habitaciones amplias, cerca de la estación y a unos pasos de la plaza Dam. lo unico negativo que diria, es que precisamente por estar ubicado en esa zona, hay mucho ruido, y no estan muy limpios los alrededores, pero el hotel en si vale la pena.

Location was amazing. Room was spacious, plenty of space for travel cot. - Staff in restaurant ignore us same as other tables. We end up leaving the restaurant twice because of this and went to eat out. - No room service options. - We couldn’t leave our luggage in storage room. - I would not come back to this hotel again.

Very thin walls. Room next to us would wake us up most nights. Hotel is located right next to Dam square and easily walkable to other must see spots around Amsterdam.

The hotel is in the center. Very walkable to a center locations. I upgraded to my room with the view to the city with balkony, but unfortunately the balkony doors were not working. Instead we were offered a free wine/beer drinks in the hotel's cafe. If you decide to take a breakfast in the hotel, it was nice/clean and we are glad that we took the brakfast.
