The location is fantastic, however the rooms were not very clean. Beds and pillows had previous guests hair throughout and a couple of our towels had big rips in them. This hotel is cheap for the location in Amsterdam though. We skipped the hotel.breakfast so can't comment.

Great location
Hotel was easy to find just 5 mins from central station. Location cannot be beaten, rooms are a little outdated and 1 of our party had an issue with their door which they couldn't fix, so had to be let in by reception every time they left the room. Staff friendly and polite, facilities were good. Don't expect the ritz but it's a great location on a budget.

Stayed here for 4 nights across 2 stays. Rooms are very small, as expected from the size description during the booking. We had two medium-sized luggage (one clamshell, and one that opens from the top). Found just the right amount of aisle space to deal with our luggage. Had we had bigger luggage we would have struggled. Bathroom was clean but tiny, and the shower doors are foldable and open up into a rectangle (hard to explain) - the result is wet floors near the toilet itself after a shower. No complimentary toothbrush/toothpaste/bedroom slippers provided. Towels, shower gel and shampoo provided. Shower was hot and had good water pressure. Room had a heater and we could open the windows to let in the cold winter air. Was a functional hotel for our stay as we were only in to sleep. Location was great (about a 10 min walk from Amsterdam Centraal station) and had a tram stop right outside the hotel. Area was safe too, and had a police station right next door. Close to the bustling streets of Amsterdam central.

Great location for train station and trams. Easy walking distance to restaurants which i felt safe walking to alone. Room was a bit dated/tired but had everything i needed. Decent shower. Kettle provided with coffee and tea. Breakfast had mix of cold and hot food.

We had a room booked for over a month. I emailed for an early check-in. I asked for a baby crib. I got form emails back. Ok, we can wait til normal check in time. 3 adults, 2 infants (3 months). Arrive in Amsterdam, stop at the hotel, talk to the young receptionist. She has me pay the taxes, and they tell me “It’s not ready yet.” I go see the city. Check back at 1pm. “They are cleaning the room.” Check back at 2; “not ready” 3 pm (check-in time): They inform me there is a leak and it won’t be fixed. They hand me 3 prepackaged stroopwafels, the cheapest things ever that I can find in rural America, and tell me I have to stay at a different hotel; This hotel is not in the same location I paid to book. It is much either from the city center. It is much further for my elderly family member to walk. IT ALSO COST HALF OF WHAT I PAID AVENUE HOTEL. They are making money off rebooking people. I did find out from the second hotel that there was no leak: THEY OVERSOLD THE ROOM. DO NOT STAY HERE. They are sleazy. I assume they’ll reply with some form response below. Whatever it says, this is the truth. Horrible experience for my young and old family!

Very good location close to lots of transport and the centre. Staff were helpful and hotel was clean! Bathroom was very small but still had everything we needed. Would stay again for the price :)

Our stay was good overall, the location was incredible, but the stay itself could have been better. We had an issue with the shower’s door (it was missing one piece) and because of that the bathroom would get very wet after we use the shower. We were there only for 2 days, but we decided to go check with the staff if they could either fix it somehow or get us another room. The entire situation was tiring, as on the first day they were supposed to go look the shower (while we were out) and get back to us after, but they didn’t, so we ended up having to go back to the reception desk on the next day, and ask again. Only on the second time someone actually went upstairs with us to check the issue , and after talking to their management, decided to get us another room. We were happy with the upgrade, but it sucked that we were only there for 2 days, and had to deal with something like this.

My stay was generally good. Hotel location is perfect which makes it easy to navigate the city with the Central Station very close by. Hotel service was ok. Cooked breakfast wasn't that tasty but alternatives were made available.

Very good for the price, central location only a 5 min walk from the train station with a tram stop sight outside the hotel. However the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the people next to you & in the corridor. Also house cleaning seemed in a rush to get us to check out even letting themself into our room twice to ask if we were checking out even though it was still before our check out time, rest of the staff are very nice and helpful.

Do not recommend. Hotel is expensive for the quailty and service. Charge for everything, including an iron. Breakfast was basic and poor quailty, i had it included with my room and i only went the first morning. Cleaning wasn't done correctly on the second day, took them 40 minutes to come and clean. Third day, cleaning wasnt done by 3pm. We'd given up asking by this point so it never actually got cleaned. I could go on with more problems but Ill wrap this up by saying.....Overall our stay was stressful.
