My husband and I stayed in room 204 on the second floor, we looked out onto the street. I had asked for a quiet room with a good view so was a little disappointed that we weren't higher up and perhaps at the back of the hotel, but it was a nice enough view of the shops below and the room was lovely and well presented with plenty of space. I did speak to the staff and they said they could move us if I wasn't happy after that evening's stay. In the end, it wasn't the noise from the street that was the problem it was the noise from the fans we needed to have on all night due to the heat. The hotel can't do anything about the weather but the large fan provided was so loud, and the room was so stuffy. By the last night, we slept with the window fully open with both the large and small fan on but it just felt like we couldn't get any cool air into the room. Other than that the hotel staff always said hello as you left and entered the hotel, the lounge area and terrace on the first floor are really nice and as I said the rooms are clean and were serviced daily, the shower is nice and powerful too. The hotel is also in a good location. I probably wouldn't stay here again in summer and opt for somewhere with built-in aircon but in winter it would be perfect.
