Really good value for the price. The hotel is really well located. It's very close to the museums, vondelpark and Central Amsterdam. It's convenient for the airport (on the 397 bus line). The room was tiny and would have been annoying had we stayed longer than a few nights but it did have everything we needed including a comfy bed, a coffee maker and safe. You can also get tea and coffee from reception. The room was tired around the edges but quiet (we were in the second building which is through a courtyard so absolutely no street noise). Overall it was a great stay and we'd happily stay here again

Room was clean but very dim lighting and very hot. The stairs down to our room were treacherous and need to be very careful going up and down. Staff friendly and helpful. The room was basic (not like the image advertised) but we didn’t spend much time in the room so it didn’t matter too much. We had a great weekend though!

The hotel is an old build run so apparently most of their room windows don’t open. This was not publicised anywhere on this site. If you want to be able to open a window this hotel is not for you.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was centrally located and an easy walk to many locations, including the Rjksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, Anne Frank House and a Canal boat tour. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. I would reccomend staying here for anyone that doesn't have a car.

Everything excellent except no elevator
Our room was comfortable, the bathroom and shower were nice. The two ladies at the front desk were absolutely the nicest, friendliest & helpful people. The ONLY drawback to the entire stay was the older building had no elevator. Climbing the narrow stairs two flights was difficult.

Best valued hotel in Amsterdam
This is my go to hotel in Amsterdam, and I stay here 5 or so times a year. The value is great, the rooms are always impeccable, the staff is friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat.

Lovely little hotel in the museum district. Convenient walk, bike ride or transit ride to Central Station. Also near the Heineken brewery, boat tours, museums and Albert street market. You can easily rent bikes on site. Our room was perfect for crashing at night and getting rested for a new day.

The front desk staff was very friendly and spoke English. They helped us find the correct team to get to where we needed to go. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was next to vondelpark but otherwise about a 25 minute walk to most places we wanted to go, including the city center and Anne frank house. Overall was happy with the stay.
