Overall, the stay was lovely. However, we checked in a bit late and the room we had was overly fragrant and seems like it was trying to cover body odor from the room. Unfortunately, we were too tired to switch rooms, therefore tried to air the room out via windows. The smell persisted, but with a one night stay I didn’t want to make a fuss about it.

I was starting to get sick when I came to the property a few hours early and asked if we can check in early.They refused to accommodate. I understood that no room was available but right during that time I heard the same lady who helped me tell another couple their room was ready for early check in. But I had no energy to go argue as maybe their circumstances were different than mine. so we headed out to have some lunch as I needed to take my meds. This was around 12:45 PM That night I became severely ill and had no food in the room and had to eat my antibiotics and pain killers and we asked the front desk if they could provide us with a croissant or a roll ( as we had paid $30 for breakfast. Again 0 consideration, empathy and lack of concern, refused to give my husband any food, so I dissolved 2 sugar packets in water and chugged down my meds.after an hour or so as we were heading out (without having breakfast) a guy handed over a banana and few apples but it was too late as the empty stomach and meds combo created havoc and the nausea, shivers and throat pain got worse! If they could learn common human courtesy as they already took our money but were not interested in their customers well being. I suffered so much 1 more thing is that we called the night before for some extra tea bags as they only gave 2 in the room and some other items, the lady at the front desk said 10 minutes but nothing showed up until we called them again at 5 AM or so. This can be.

I really loved this property. It was about a 15-20 minutes walk to most attractions. Employees were beyond friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and beautiful appointed. I’d recommend this property to anyone.

Loved that the hotel was within a 30-min walk to plenty of sights and the central area of Amsterdam. The area around property is very quiet and away from the crowds, but just note that means you're a bit further away from restaurants/bars that are open late.
