I am writing to formally request a refund for my stay at Cordial Hotel, as the conditions of the room fell far below even the most basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety. Despite the hotel's positive reviews and convenient location, my experience was unacceptable and has caused me significant inconvenience and additional expenses.
I was assigned Room 104, which the receptionist described as a “nice room.” However, the following issues were immediately apparent:
Mold Smell in the Bathroom: The bathroom emitted a strong odor of mold, making it unpleasant and unsanitary to use.
Non-Functional Light Fixtures: The light fixture on the left side of the double bed was not working, reducing the room's functionality and comfort.
Uncomfortable Bedding: The mattress pad shifted throughout the night, and the pillows were so uncomfortable that I had to use my neck pillow to sleep.
Bed Bug Infestation:
The most egregious issue, however, was the presence of bed bugs in the room. Unfortunately, by the end of my stay, I suffered from severe bed bug bites all over my body and face. These bites became infected, requiring unexpected medical treatment. The pain and discomfort disrupted my trip, and I incurred additional medical expenses due to this issue.
