Was not impressed with the rooms. Paid over $300/night to be in an unrenovated room with heavily stained carpets and outdated decor/furniture. Ended up having to upgrade for an extra $50/night to get something renovated that didn’t smell. Even the renovated room was still tight. Separating doors touched the bed, door to the bathroom made it tight to get in and out and bathtub was too deep making it almost dangerous to get in and out. Not a great renovation but definitely more comfortable. Food onsite was good but expensive. None of the pizza was worth the price. Enjoyed the sushi restaurant best and the pool. Jacuzzi only worked one of the nights we were there. Overall not really a luxury experience for the price of the rooms.

I live fairly close by and needed to get away for the night. Could not have been happier with my overall experience. Guest service was exceptional, each member of staff I interacted with were cordial, friendly, and professional. I’d like to recognize Trent at the front desk, overall demeanor was pleasant and personable, gave me a wealth of knowledge about the history of the property, and was a real joy to speak with. He is a consummate professional and an excellent steward of guest service. The room was spectacular. I had a lovely stay and plan on retuning again.

The property is busy with tour bus travelers Over-priced Room was big and quiet We arrived early so were unable to check in Understandable but people arriving were checking in We were not giving instructions on the heater and cold air was blowing out No washcloths Rooms could us updating. Almost everything was great, really nice hotel in a great location. Great staff. The only issues 1. Some of the electrical outlets in the room didn’t work and we had to find places to charge things. 2. We made a reservation for the Seven Glaciers restaurant on top of mount Aleyska but the reservation wasn’t taken correctly and when we got to the tram, they had no record. The people were really nice and let us travel up anyways and the restaurant moved things around to accommodate us so in the end, all was well and the food and view were amazing. Would definitely go back.

Room service was fast but food was awful. Front desk refused a late check out but then agreed to let us pay $50 for a 2pm checkout or $125 for a 4pm. First time I’ve ever had a hotel charge for a late check out. When I reluctantly agreed to it (given we had a red eye flight out) they then informed me I couldn’t after all. After paying $500 for a standard room. Won’t be going back here anytime soon.
