Angourie Beach House: Ideal for digital nomads, couples or families. Experience uninterrupted ocean views over surf & family friendly Spooky Beach only moments away.
Our prime location is a short stroll to pristine beaches, local eateries, Blue & Green pools, Yuraygir National Park & the Angourie Point surf break.

Original beach-house has solid timber Witzig architecture, north facing, NBN, eco-friendly passive solar, large covered deck, spacious & comfy living & dining areas spanning 3 levels.

I built the Angourie Beach House in 1994, in architectural collaboration with John Witzig, using Northern NSW hardwoods and floor to ceiling glass complimenting the open plan high ceiling north facing aspect.

Bright and light the house is perfectly set up for guests to enjoy beach side living.

Smart TV with Chromecast and high speed NBN internet with wifi for seamless connectivity.

Downstairs you will find the ocean view master bedroom with ensuite and private balcony. 2nd bedroom on lower level has 2 bunk beds with garden views. The main bathroom with full size bathtub and laundry are easily accessed on the lower floor.

Upstairs, the open plan kitchen dining, living space and large balcony are all hosting full ocean views to Spooky beach.

For children / babies we provide a travel cot, high chair and stair gates at the bottom / top of the stairs.
There's a single car garage and additional double car spaces in front of the garage. There is ample street parking available.

Angourie is a very unique place recognised for its peaceful, laidback 70's surf town vibes. We encourage guests to embrace this culture during their stay.

It will be my pleasure to host you and share the secrets my home provides.

The house has all of the conveniences of home, check the surf when you open your eyes from your bed, play in the park across the road, or just relax and enjoy the sounds of nature and the amazing view!!

The park across the road has swings and a slide as well as open space for ball games etc.....you can watch the kids play from the balcony!! Angourie also has no main road so there is rarely car traffic.

Delightful area, close to beach, great cafe around the corner, really interesting house, lovely relaxing time. (Shame about the weather but we still had a great time). Because the house is so close to the ocean salt is a problem but there are internal fittings that have significant rust(need replacing)and BBQ is unusable.

For nature lovers
The location is great if you want to just relax and enjoy the natural surrounds. The house was ok. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone who needs to avoid stairs. I was surprised that we had to drive to Yamba to buy bath soap as none supplied. There is cafe nearby but no other shops so be prepared to spend a bit of time in Yamba which is a short drive away. Host was quick to reply to queries.

Andrew's place is spacious, relaxing and comfortable. It has a great outlook with coastal bush and sea views and is positioned perfectly to take advantage of Angourie's surroundings. We were able to take our pooch and although there is no yard it wasn't a problem with the park across the road. Some reviews have mentioned the place is a little outdated but it just makes it easier to relax in as far as we're concerned. Thanks for accommodating us Andrew. We didn't want to leave!

Likes: Very cool groovy property with fantastic views, Wi Fi and smart TV - fridge was HUGE - huge bathrooms and bedrooms as well and lots of pantry space. Very clean with lots of necessities included. Areas of opportunity. GIANT smart TV sound is going. and for luddites like us, the stove instructions, even when you google them, don't tell you that the clock has to be set to operate the oven. Lucky some friends smarter than us visited and sorted that. Unit door has number one on it, and yes, the directions specifically take you to it, but it is advertised as unit 4. A bit confusing as a start. Lots of warnings about parties and noise, so we were really stressed about having some friends for a quiet lunch, but ironically one of the "valued" neighbours mentioned in the warnings, used a drop saw right beside us the whole stay - clearly renovations, but didn't even get a break from it on the weekend. Would definitely stay there again having said the above.

We had a wonderful week at Andrews place. It is in a great location, so close to several beaches. Also quiet. The kitchen has all you need with new appliances. The bed was comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful location.
Angourie exceeded our expectations. The property is perfectly located to experience the beauty and tranquility of the place and within a short walk to a terrific restaurant and cafe. Yamba with all its amenities is a short drive away. The property is fit for purpose as a beach house.
