Facility was under construction, probably due to outdated rooms. Plumbing backed up while trying to dress for wedding shower. Instead of fixing, provided us with a working bathroom down the hall. Very disappointing.

We began disappointed that the advertised pool was closed - this trip being a special get-away with our grandchildren. Then we experienced our room which is extremely run down. We definitely over-paid. The hotel is under much-needed updating and our room was bad- carpet stained, duct taped chair, fridge loud and broken, temp control fan not working, weird vibration noice under TV that only lessoned when we tipped it up off the dresser and against the wall. Also very dirty under the bathroom sink cabinet- obviously the floor there not being cleaned, which I discovered after dropping a brush that went there. Yuck.

Hotel is being renovated. Drapes were all coming apart. Hole in the room darkening window covering. Shelves were coming apart. There was 1 outlet within 12ft of the headboard. Office chair had hole that had been taped together. Wallpaper was literally coming off the walls. The worst part…bathroom sink was completely clogged and when you turn on the faucet tons of gunk came out from under the drain cover. I went to the front desk…no maintenance on duty! Poor front desk girl had to go to the second floor to find a plunger and I had to plunge it myself. Only other option (at 11pm on a Saturday) was to split my family up into 2 different rooms. When I asked for them to throw in breakfast for the inconvenience, she said only a manager could do that and he wouldn’t be in until Monday. Everything about the stay was bad except the front desk girl trying to help.

The staff were great! However even while under renovations, the furniture was ripped and tattered. Torn wall paper in places. Water damage around the AC/Heater unit. The door dead bolt did not lock. All this would be fine for a hotel under renovations….. But, charging more than $500 a night for this broken down site is highway robbery. Stay somewhere else.

The first room we were placed in had terrible conditions of ripped furniture, duct tape on furniture, scraped up walls, the bath drain was clogged, and the springs in the sofa bed were atrociously uncomfortable. The hot tub in the online pictures has been ripped out (per hotel staff). I received a call from front desk staff at 10:45pm saying I wasn’t check in and needed to come down to the front desk.

Front desk staff was friendly, as were housekeeping. Would have been nice to know they were under construction.. no pool. No restaurant/bar... the room could really use a DEEP clean/scrub/carpet cleaning. Breakfast was silly... not much to choose from but still wanting to charge for it? Pass.
