Pros:
+ Great location. All main sightseeing points are nearby, lots of good food spots in the vicinity. The area may look a bit shady, but it's actually fine.
+ You don't have to meet with anyone. You find keys to your room in a locker, you leave them in the same locker when you check out.
+ They send you an awesomely clear and detailed instruction on how to find the place and get in.
+ There is a stove and a full set of dishes and kitchen utensils so you can cook, which actually is a good idea since there's a huge market nearby where you can buy fresh local seafood, meat and veggies.
Cons:
- The place isn't in great condition. Everything seems to be working but has problems. The sofa is wambling, the tap in the bathroom is not properly secured, the drain in the sink is gummed up so it is always full of water when you're using it, the water gets through the wall into the room when you're taking shower so there's always a puddle. The bed was cracked too.
- There is no wardrobe or shelves, only the coat hangers. So the only place you can put the stuff from your bags is the sofa.
- There is no place where you can dry the towels. Ours stayed wet during all 11 days of our stay.
- The only way to heat the room is with a conditioner, this takes ages.
- The place could be cleaner (especially the containers under the bed)
- In one of the photos, there are bathroom disposables (shampoo, soap) you usually get at hotels. We didn't get any of those.
- No room service (only for extra $).
