Worst front desk person ever!
The hotel itself was fine. Not very convenient to the gas south district, but tons of nearby shopping and food. The front desk staff, one in particular was ignorant, rude, dismissive, and quite obviously disliked her job. She ignored an entire line of people waiting to check in to go stand outside to take private cellphone calls. She refused to check in anyone before 3pm on the dot. Except a gentleman that she allowed to bypass the line to check in early. I will never stay at this property again just because of this employee’s mistreatment of guests. Do better with your staffing!

Not the best hotel, not the worst. For a Hampton Inn I was definitely not impressed. It’s an old building. Construction going on around the outside property. Our outlet in the bathroom was broken. Out ice machine was pulled out and unplugged and no one was fixing it the days we were there. Overall I expect more from Hampton and Hilton in general. I will say the bed was super comfy though.

The good, The bad, The ugly
Room was clean until I had to pull out the mini fridge and saw all the dirt and dust on top of and behind the microwave. Breakfast was an unmitigated disaster. The line for breakfast would give Disney a run for their money. One of the two waffle makers was out of order. All the food is tucked back in a tiny side room so you have to pack like sardines to get your food. And my family if 5 had to eat at a table made for two. Ready for the M. Night Shymalan twist? It wasn’t even THAT busy! The design and layout just doesn’t handle moderate crowds well. I’d hate to stay here when it’s super busy.

My room had no hot water at night. And the tub water was not going down either. The internet didnt work so couldnt even check in. The worker at the front desk was rude about it and told us to just wait. Instead of talking politely. Would not recommend this stay.

Rooms are not clean well. Looks like only thing they did was changed the towels and empty the garbage. First night checked in, found cigarettes butts in a paper cup outside the balcony. In the bath draw, found a dirty men underwear. Floor did not get vacuumed. Some staff at front desk, the guy working at night shift his attitude is cold, unwelcoming and feel indifference when you tell him your issues with your room or situations. Laundry machines did not work. Heard loud noise on some nights. We stayed for 8 nights and the only positive is the mattress is comfortable. Serve same breakfast items daily with only changes is between sausage or bacon but most sausages on most days. Pool looks dirty and don't seem like it gets clean daily. Overall, we had a bad experience staying at this hotel. Would not come back and would not recommend. Management needs to look into these issues urgently.
