Overall very centrally located and easy to walk to main areas and taking the tube. Lots of food places around the area too. Thankfully our room was on the 5th floor so relatively quiet although we did hear from other residents on lower floors complaining on the noise. The hotel room was very hot and hard to sleep at night. The shower unfortunately was either scolding hot or freezing cold. These are minor issues that if resolved would make the stay more pleasurable for guests.

Fantastic
I could not fault the room it was very clean bed was amazing so comfortable nice and quiet on the 7th floor hot shower was perfecto very good power and adjustable heat tea and coffee facility's and clean cup Better sleep than my own residence

The President hotel was in a perfect location, ideal for walking to Covent Garden and various other tourist attractions. Staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. Rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable. I would definitely stay there in the future.

Overall a pretty good stay. Room sizes...well it's central London so compact and bijou is the name of the game. Can't complain. Biggest issue was the SINGLE lift to the 7th floor which could barely fit in my mum's wheelchair with great difficulty and often a long wait. If you're a wheelchair user insist on a lower floor! Wifi in rooms very unreliable. Breakfast good.

Management will put us in bigger room next time
Location is great next to tube station but they closed the station over the weekend for track maintenance so we had to walk to Kings Cross to get trains. The room and bed were the tiniest I have ever been in as no room for luggage and bed is only a normal double bed. Not a queen.

There was a fire alarm that went off about 11:30 pm and there was no communication from management as to whether it was real or a false alarm. A few of us got dressed and went downstairs to inquire and was told it was a false alarm. They should have had a PA announcement.

Our stay was outstanding, the hotel was clean, the decor was current, the restaurant and bars were comfortable with a great variety on the menu, all affordable. The food was delicious and fresh. The room was comfortable, clean and wel maintained and above all else the staff were absolutely wonderful, every single member of staff we encountered were friendly, polite, courteous, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and all seemed very happy. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in London over the years and The President is definitely up with the top hotels we’ve stayed in. We will definitely be back for another stay soon and would highly recommend to anyone. Fantastic! Many thanks

T he staff at the President particularly the desk staff are friendly, so helpful and charming. The hotel is always the only place I consider when staying in that part of London.The hotel is also so friendly and quiet,a pleasure to stay there. Bernard Cuffling.

Wonderful hotel and staff! It’s just a few minutes from the Russell Square stop. We rode the Piccadilly line all the way from Heathrow. I will definitely stay there next trip to London. The breakfast was also delightful.

This hotel is fantastic, we used it as a base whilst visiting London. We booked room only but were made aware that we could pay for breakfast if we wished. The lobby area is lovely and the staff very accommodating. We stayed on the 5th floor and had a view of the gardens oposite, which was fantastic. The one window didn't open which wasn't too much of a problem as the other window did but the room was very warm. There was a welcomed fan in the wardrobe. The bed was very and I mean very comfortable. The tv was a little temperamental but this didn't bother us. The curtain was off the track on the one side but being quite handy I attached them back up myself. The bathroom had a lovely shower with complementary toiletries which smelt lovely. The only thing we didn't like about the room was the door stop on the main door, it was far to large meaning u couldn't open the door fully. A smaller door stop would have been sufficient. Overall a fantastic stay, would recommend and would visit again.

Fabulous hotel, a few minutes walk from Russell Square tube station. Staff were all very friendly and professional. Hotel and room were very clean throughout and the lobby was very welcoming and of a high standard. The bathroom was quite spacious, well lit and lovely hot shower. The dining in the hotel was delicious and not overly priced. Our room overlooked a building site opposite, which was a shame but didn’t affect our overall experience. The room, however, was very hot with no air con. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
