Perfect Family Home
We had a wonderful home in which to have a pre-Christmas gathering with our Springfield family. This house offered comfort, space and elegance. Janet has provided a beautiful home away from home. We will return next year, God willing.

Wonder, quiet, clean place to stay!

Lovely house
Stayed here Thanksgiving week with my sister and brother in law while visiting other family in the area. My brother in law has mobility issues so this house was perfect for him - one level living and a walk-in shower. The house is clean and modern. The kitchen is well stocked and spacious. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Auburn, IL Home
We found our stay at this location very pleasant. The property was clean, well stocked, peaceful and quiet for our three night stay. Our hostess, Janet, was kind enough to check in to ensure that our needs were met and that we were comfortable prior to our checking into the house, and asked that we let her know should we need anything. I would highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to be right next to a golf course, and/or who wishes to enjoy a quiet stay in a country setting.

Girls Getaway

Girls Weekend
We pullled in about 5:30-6:00. As we were unpacking the host came over and Introduced Herself. We took our things inside, pulled. The vehicles in the garage which was nice since they were calling for storms. The house did not disappoint. It was very clean and very cozy. We really had the home feel. Spent some time sitting on the patio watching the golfers and the weather. Very easy to find and get too.

We really enjoyed our stay The house was very clean and open. Janet was very nice and helpful. She told us we could put our vehicles in the garage which most places we’ve stayed the garage is locked and off limits so we appreciated that especially since there was a hail storm headed our way We would definitely stay there again when in the area

We all agreed that this was the best rental we’ve ever stayed in. Communication with the owner was great and accommodations were clean and extremely well-laid out. Everything we needed was so well laid out and everyone slept great. We were able to have a small family gathering at her house. Highly recommend!!

Scrapbooking fun!
This was a wonderful experience for my sister & me. It was located in between our home towns & worked perfectly for us to catch up & scrapbook. The hostess is wonderful & prompt in her communications. We had food from some local restaurants & it is was very good. We ventured to Girard, IL to experience lunch at Docs Just Off 66...an old fashioned soda fountain shoppe. Dont miss sraying ar this hidden gem of hospitality!

Oasis in the Fields
We had a wonderful time visiting this charming small town, a great place to stay for trips into Springfield and other surrounding towns and villages. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your amazing accommodations. In the ten plus years I have been booking homes through VRBO I must say this property is one of the most well appointed; absolutely beautiful inside and out. Janet was very accommodating and always available if ever we needed anything.

Nice Place, Great Golf Course View
This is a newly remodeled house, right on the golf course. We parked in the garage at night to avoid stray golf balls and enjoyed time on the patio in the morning. The host assured we could get in the house, but left us alone otherwise. Would definitely recommend for a stay in the Springfield area!
