Terrible directions and communications.
I was in a taxi getting there and there was just no way to find it. The directions were terrible. It cost me $15 just to keep circling it. I finally found it and the door was broken. Someone motioned me around to an unmarked garage. I needed to leave a day early but the person I called said it wasn't possible.

The property was clean and comfortable. Nice location for entertainment. The only drawback was it was cold and by that I mean it was gray. It was white. It was black. There was absolutely no color in this entire apartment. The floors and the ceiling were cement the hallways were cement. It felt rather like the Gulag. In fact there weren’t even any throw pillows on the couch, but, like I say, it was quiet. The location was safe and it had everything a person would need including a kitchen.

The location boasts stunning views, but the interior feels quite industrial and lacks warmth. Unfortunately, there was no manual provided to guide us on operating appliances or turning off the fan. Additionally, the cleanliness left much to be desired, with hair found in areas where it shouldn't be. Accessing the room from the elevator was challenging, as the codes frequently malfunctioned, and even when we managed to reach our floor, getting into our room was often a struggle.

The property is advertised as a “condo-style hotel,” which led me to believe we would have the convenience and ease typically associated with a hotel stay. However, this turned out to be a completely different experience. First, the location information provided on Hotels.com was inaccurate. Kasa operates multiple buildings, but this critical detail wasn’t made clear on the listing. We ended up parking at the wrong building because the address provided by Hotels.com didn’t match the specific instructions sent by Kasa after we checked in online. The initial misdirection and lack of clarity caused us significant inconvenience, and we had to navigate unfamiliar surroundings with our luggage to locate the actual building. Even after arriving at the correct building, the check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. With no on-site staff and no clear instructions, it took us nearly an hour to find and access our room. Standing outside, carrying our bags, and trying to decipher the instructions was frustrating and anything but the “convenient, fast, and easy” experience I had expected. The restrooms were dirty and the rest of the apartment looked like it was not cleaned properly. Overall, I feel that Kasa’s listing on Hotels.com is misleading, and I would not recommend this property to anyone

I enjoyed my stay at the Kasa on second in Austin this last weekend. We went for a family trip and the rooms for spacious, clean and there was plenty enough room for us all. The area around the building had lots of dining options and the parking was convenient .The communication up to the stay was good.

There is no person at the premise nor to be reached via phone prior/during your stay. No place to keep baggage before/after check out. Other than that - eateries for breakfast/lunch/dinner downstairs, walkable to downtown spots and parks along the river, great view etc
