The check-in staff was great, very nice people. However, our room was in bad shape. The front door was loose and the gap between it and the floor was too wide. A rubber flap is needed. There was a powdery substance on the curtains that appeared to be mold. I assigned a hand towel to deal with it. There was no sheer privacy curtain so the curtain needs to be closed morning & night unless you don't mind being on display to the walkway and parking lot. The bathroom floor was gross. I saw mops, so I can only assume that they mop any debris into the corners and leave it at that. Not sure if that's an unawareness or if they just don't care because... it's Super 8. The shower curtain rod was not firmly affixed to the wall so the entire shower experience was spent trying to keep water off the floor. The towels are small and only 1 per person, so you can't waste one to mop the puddles. There were other little things like coffee supplies were provided but there was no coffee pot - makes no sense at all. I admit that I looked for another place to stay but chose to push through, as it's very expensive to book anywhere last minute and would have added even more stress to an already stressful situation. We made the best of it being that we had to stay 3 nights. If not for the clean bedding, I'd have gotten out of there.

I think the motel was just what I needed for a one night stay. I was able to park free, shower, charge my phone and sleep. There were no issues at all. It was pest free and very quiet on a Tuesday night. The proximity to downtown Austin Convention Center was excellent.

Very convenient location to DT Austin and tourist attractions w/o the high price. Short walk to Franklin Bbq. Location may seem sketchy due to graffiti and residential area that isn’t considered high end, but it’s an affordable option to other DT Austin high lodging prices.

The pictures does not do the place justice. It's looks more ran down in person. Had a family of 6. One room with 2 beds and an awkward other room connected with one bed. Not enough room at all. Very small room. Beds were very uncomfortable and noisy. TV didn't work. Lamp shade had stains. Curtains looked dingy. The light in the extra room didn't turn on. For $135 definitely wouldn't recommend. Good thing we were only there for one night.

Overall a great stay. The two guys that checked us in were great-very helpful, fun n friendly. The guy that checked us out had nothing to say. He was the complete opposite. A great room w a king bed, awesome linens n pillows. Very clean. We loved the pool. Also very clean. We would definitely stay again.

Overall good stay for price, especially with included breakfast. The shower curtain was not fresh, and toilet had to be flushed twice to work properly. With a car its decent location but if walking around, there are homeless people along the streets and infront of local stores so I didnt feel safe. Just avoided going out after 7 pm for walks after day1.
