We had room 107 and it was the dirtiest room we’ve EVER stayed in, and we travel about 10 times annually for the past 30 years. There was a lot of dust and dirt on: headboard, end tables, soap and lotion dispensers both by the vanity and in the tub. We couldn’t get the microwave to work so we moved it to see if it was plugged in and there was a quarter inch of dust on the shelf it was sitting on. The floor was dirty, just from walking with my bare feet (my bad) from the bed to the bathroom to use it! I used a washcloth to clean my feet off and then put my shoes on. When checking out I informed the girl at the front desk how bad the room was. I told her she could go look at the washcloth. There was a lot of long dirt marks, like 2 inches wide by 6 inches long on the walls. I used a washcloth and they also came right off. We were going to take a shower in the morning, but opted not to because of the condition of the room. Also, when checking out, there is another woman walking down the hall and she said her room was disgusting and smelled like smoke in a ‘no smoking room’. There is no way they clean that room when somebody used it! We had a long 10 hr day traveling or we would’ve got our money back and went to another hotel, but we were tired and just wanted get something to eat and relax! That is the first time we’ve ever stayed in a Red Roof Inn so we were skeptical, and this will be the last time! A very bad look for Red Roof Inn’s.

Price was right room was nice and clean only complaint was the handle on the hot water in the shower sprayed all over when you turn it on. Other than that for a low price motel not bad at all.

This is a decent place, but like most places along the highway it's pretty loud with the occasional Harley with no muffler and screaming diesels, you'll love it!

Stayed here for only 1 night. Saw only a few bad reviews and thought ok not everyone can be pleased but they are all true even the ones a decent amount of time back are still not fixed. Food left in refrigerator, mold in shower, dog hair all over bed and hair/debris on floor as well as the vanity sink/mirror dirty. The key card also stopped working less than an hour after checking in. The lady at the desk was nice and I would hate to have her job because I’m sure people complain often and there is nothing she can personally do. The management needs to be looked at here because they obviously do not care about guest experience, they probably just in it for a paycheck. Bad look for the brand here. I did take photos as well. Mad at myself for booking this and I am sure people only stay because it’s pet friendly and a lot of places these days are not. Just spend the little extra and go to the other hotels right across the street. No one is checking behind the housekeepers and it’s not just the housekeeping supervisor who doesn’t care because even walking the halls once a week can tell a real manager it’s not getting done right here. It starts from the top, do better…. Be better or give your job to someone who deserves it and will try to manage this property. It can be done, make those work orders randomly inspect a room here and there and do a walkthrough, ask yourself if you would be ok sleeping here. Also if a pet has been in the room change all the bedding.

I stay here every time my tournaments are in the Geneva/Ashtabula area. quiet, not expensive, easy to get to the lake and back. I will continue to stay at red roof inn every time my tourneys are that direction.
