I go to this property usually once a month or every other month. Ive left 5 star reviews every time. This time however was different in the morning before checkout. I recieved a pounding on my door that said houskeeping, despite the do not disturb sign on the door. I yelled out that i still had 30 min before checkout. Several minutes later i get another pounding on the door. I again yell out I am getting ready to leave. Staff yelled they "needed to talk to me". I yelled i was not dressed yet. Again pounding on the door and staff states, "I need to come to the door". I open the door with a towel wrapped around me, for staff to question me about why a corner of a white towel was seen under the door. I stated that I was blocking the light from the hall. Staff proceeds to ask if I was smoking in the room I stated, no. Does it smell like ive been smoking? Staff put her head in the open door, while i am naked, says no and walks down the hall.

Red roof austinburg. Not staying again
Beds were never made. Shower took 15 whole minutes to get warm/ hot. Asked for kleenex since box was empty. Left 3 days later... No kleenex. Basically all they did was empty garbage and provide towels. Halls cold. Coffee never replaced. On the other hand, staff was friendly, tv had a good selection of channels.

Comfy bed
Clean and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for shower. Breakfast was choice of pastries, toast, bagels, juice and cereal. Coffee tasted like water run thru grounds a 2nd time.

It was what we expected for the price. Older but seemed to be well maintained. Every staff member we met was great I saw a lot of bad reviews and they were all BS i think some af those people thought they were going to be staying at the ritz not just a really decent hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

I am very thankful for Wesley. I had gotten in the hotel the night before. I had accidentally left my wallet on the hood of the car overnight. Wesley had found it the next morning and put it in the office. After 3 hours of searching I asked him if he found a wallet. He said, Yes. I was so elated. Thankful. Appreciative. The receptionist was also very helpful and considerate in helping me look. Thank you so much for all you did to help me find my wallet.

I Had stayed there in Sept of 2023 and was Happy with what I had for a Room and Stay. This Trip was not as Good!!! We were put in Room 104 , upon entering the room we noticed a musty moldy smell. After staying in the room for a Little while we noticed Black Mold all over the Walls and Furniture along with a horrible smell coming from the Heat and A/C unit while in use. Our Eyes nose and throat were burning from the smell. We complained to the front desk, They gave us a Better room similar to the one I had last Year, the Staff was friendly and quick to get us a new room. But there is no way the staff couldnt have known about tge rooms condition. The Mold was floor to Ceiling along with the rancid moldy smell. Being put in Room 104 is Hazardous to your health. Will Not be going back..

As I have had bad experiences with hotels before when I stayed, I usually do a full and thorough check of the room before I stay. Now, the staff, they were amazing. It the room was so bad when I got there, it had a musty, mold smell that permeated the room and on inspection, I found black mold under the end tables and spots of mold on the walls. I clean and detail my own car so I had cleaning supplies on hand, and took care of it since I was strapped for a place to stay, and there were no other openings elsewhere to fit my needs due to The Grape Jamboree, but the upkeep is absolutely atrocious. I did my best to address the situation, but even after cleaning, I ended up with a severe headache the last day and feeling under the weather. I have pictures of interested of what I cleaned, and can share that privately since I couldn’t figure out how to attach here.
