4 day weekend getaway

Loved the cabin and lake. We enjoyed using the fire pit one night. Beds are a bit small. We certainly missed having a TV for night time viewing and especially missed WIFI.

Loved it!

It was our first stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint. It was impeccably clean, had a large outdoor deck and a screened in porch as well. And Kangaroo Lake was beautiful, very clean and inviting. We will definitely be back!

Autumn Getaway

The cabin and property were perfect for us three to get away from the heat in the south, see the fall colors and enjoy our favorites in DC! The deck, outdoor fires, boat rides, swing, ping pong, hot coffee, kitchen supplies, games and movies, comfy beds were all perfect! Shower was a bit low for us 6’ tall people but it was hot and clean! We wouldn’t have changed a thing and plan to go back! Thank you Trudy! Ps water was good and clean up easy and done in 10 minutes!!

Fall getaway

The property is part of a group of rental cottages. The unit is nice and would suit a family of 4-5 but may be a bit crowded on a rainy day. We really enjoyed having access to the kayak and boating equipment. The beach is great and the lake is shallow so it's great for children in the warmer months. We'll stay again!

Peaceful Game Nights and Everything Outdoors

Stayed at one of the cottages with our two college aged children for family time. So glad we did. No T.V. and spotty reception but we had a blast! Swimming, kayaking, water bikes, campfire, grilling out, volleyball, badminton and ice cream...and that was just onsite! All that plus all the close-by activities would you can do as much or as little as you want. Didn’t want to leave and we’re definitely coming back for a taste of life in the Northwoods!

Birch Cottage - Bailey's Harbor, WI

Nice, comfortable cottage. They require you to do a lot of cleaning when you check out. Only complaint was the water. It has a strong smell and a taste of iron. I don't know if there is anything that can be done about that but we bought water and used that for brushing teeth and making coffee etc. One other thing, we were a little disappointed that we didn't get to meet Trudy who I think manages these cottages. It would have been nice to have had the chance to visit with her. All in all we enjoyed the location and had a good time in Door County.

This place is great. It's chill, off the beaten path, relaxing, clean and cute.

We had an awesome stay in the Birch cabin! Very clean and a great price for a whole cottage with full kitchen, screen porch, and big deck. The fire pit was great, and the beach and lake are just beautiful. What a gem. You can get anywhere you want to explore in Door County within a quick drive too. The only one little wish I had was that hand soap would have been provided in the bathroom. We really loved it. Thanks!
