Prior to my arrival, I originally contacted the property via email on October 14th to request an early check-in as a courtesy for my birthday. However, I did not receive any response until the day of my arrival, 10/19 which I find unacceptable. I also reached out to
Red Roof Inn customer service and was eventually provided a number to contact the property directly, I spoke with the front desk attendant, Precious.
Despite calling the number she provided regarding my request, the number was either incorrect or no one was available to answer after multiple attempts, and as such, I did not get an immediate response. I had to contact the general customer service line again to get assistance. This experience fell far short of the 4-star reviews I saw online on the Red Roof Inn website. The front end attendant, Precious assured me during our phone conversation that I would be able to check in early by 1:00 PM.
However, the communication issues, coupled with the overall substandard quality of the hotel, made the stay extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, the room was overpriced and inadequately supplied, with only one towel for two guests, which is unacceptable. The room was dated, with visible water stains, etc no microwave or refrigerator although it was advertised and listed in the details list, as shown in the picture on the website. Unacceptable!
