This property hosts an optional New Year's Eve gala dinner for guests staying on December 31, 2024. Guests who wish to attend must book the gala dinner at least 7 days in advance. I did not enjoy my stay at all! I came to visit and potentially have my wedding at this place. There were a few times when I did not feel comfortable here, but the situation at the restaurant was definitely the worst. I had scheduled a luxury dinner at the beach, and when we arrived, they expressed concern because my shoulders were not covered. I was confused because earlier in the day, I saw many people eating in the restaurant in swimsuits. They told me that because there were in a Muslim community, I wasn’t allowed to eat like that. I got very frustrated because I respect all cultures and religions, but there was no introduction or any information from the hotel informing us about this, nor were there any signs. Additionally, the AC in my room did not work. I couldn’t fall asleep at all, and although they let me sleep in a different room, it was already the middle of the night. The only thing that was absolutely lovely was the spa! However, you don’t have to stay at the resort to go to the spa!

The view of this property is beautiful. Not a lot of activities going on throughout the resort. When we arrived at the port, they took our luggage’s and 2 bags of gifts. We trust them to put our stuff together and not lose them. It turn out they lost our 2 bags of gifts, they found it later but delivered to a wrong room and eventually it got tossed away by the other guest or workers. We kept close communication with them through text and phone call but still resulted in losing our 2 bags of gifts. With some angry exchanges, they did eventually compensated us for our loses. This kind of ruined the mood for our first day at the resort.

Felt like I was living in paradise the entire staff was very welcoming and attentive to all my needs. A ton of options with their buffet style breakfast with a stunning ocean view. My only negative about the hotel , is that you are stuck on the island if you don’t get a boat transfer by 3 pm. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you want to feel relaxed and at peace with vivid sunset views

At first glance, this is a five star resort. Gorgeous views and incredible attention to detail in the landscape, rooms, and pool areas. But, only two restaurants open (and they are basically the same restaurant as they operate off the same menu.) And parts of resort are either closed or under repair. It’s monsoon season so that could be part of the reason for closures however it would’ve been nice to have a bar by the infinity pool and a restaurant up there too. Rain was not a problem, but we would advise staying up in hotel four for convenience to breakfast and infinity pool. Prices are what you would expect at a resort, but you are 100 m down the beach from several local shops, spas and restaurants. Yoga and Thai dance classes were great!

We stayed at Santhiya for five nights for our honeymoon and had an incredible stay. The view from our room was breathtaking and the resort was stunningly beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful and we very much enjoyed the fire show on the beach. It was also very easy to walk to the nearby town for some local restaurants and tours. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great hotel , the staff is great definitely customer service is outstanding. I would like to say thanks to Mr. Gyft he was great host during our stay . Gracias, muy agradecida. Grateful ! I paid less than 600 dollars for 5 nights .
