The plot next to the hotel is a building site with heavy machinery working all day from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm. Very noisy and smelling of diesel. There was no indication of this when we booked. Our balcony overlooked the construcion site and was unusable. Also the internet did not work in our rooms. I complained and was told someone would look into it. One bar reception and dropping out all the time. This was never resolved. Avoid this hotel. At least the cleaners did a good job.

This hotel is overrated and should be classified as a 3-star property. The room is spacious, and my overall stay was decent. However, there was a strong smell of smoke in the room, despite it being a non-smoking room, which caused me to have a stuffy nose during my 5-night stay. The noise level was also an issue, as the hotel is near the road, and the constant slamming of doors was quite disruptive. The staff were generally friendly, but it would be nicer if the receptionist smiled more and was a bit friendlier.

The staff were very good & helpfull the rooms not as good.I stayed twice in a week.The first stay I booked a suite and it was basic to say the least, large but very sterile and showed unprofessional fix up jobs e.g. wall plaster filling.The second stay was in a superior room.which was well appointed and a lot more comfortable.

This is a budget friendly hotel which means all you want is a decent bed, and functioning shower, fridge, etc.I booked 2 nights but my plane was delayed a day and when I tried to cancel one night they refused. Bad start I arrive at check-in and told there's good news and bad news....the room is ready there's no electricity for a few hours but I can leave my luggage and go for a walk. The room is newly mopped and there's a stench most likely from cleaning solution? I return 5 hours later and guess what? The stench is still there.I bite the bullet because it's only one night but never again. The furniture was old but you'd think they'd steam clean the couch (Lord knows what's been taking place on there).

Good but could be improved
I also stayed in the hotel about three months earlier, when I would have marked it more highly. This time around I felt that my room was less good than the previous time - it used space very poorly. The bedroom had a bed at one end and a vast empty unused space at the other, big enough for a double bed. This was Room 605. Also, I don't remember the internet being so completely dreadful in the room on my previous visit. It was close to useless and to do anything significant it was necessary to take the laptop down to the lobby, where internet was fine. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, there was always hot water when I wanted it, and the staff were always friendly and helpful
