We had an overall great experience at this property. There were a couple of cleaning issues that the staff overlooked but for the most part everything was good. When we had any issues, I contacted the company and they immediately responded.

Long holiday vacay at Bear Manor
1 is worst, 5 is best. Cleanliness- 5! No WiFi or internet but listing said there would be WiFi/internet. Followed troubleshooting recommendations with no luck. Called Vacasa, property manager. They sent someone out day after arrival to fix. They couldn’t fix it and texted that they might have to contact the owner. That was the last we heard. So no WiFi or internet the whole stay. Very frustrating as we had to reserve online for various activities (tubing on River, alpine wilderness coaster, etc.) Also we weren’t able to watch any tv or movies in the evening. Not as advertised. - 0 rating. When reserving, messaged owner with a couple of questions and never heard anything so that was not a good sign right from the beginning. Communication rating with owner - 0. Communication with Vacasa, property manager - 2. Listing said there was A/C. Not central air, only units in each bedroom, but not in main area of home. Found an oscillating fan in the living room upon arrival but it was broken. Had to prop up against the drawer of the TV stand to get some air to circulate. The A/C units in each bedroom were extremely loud and could not sleep with the AC unit on. Luckily it was not that hot so I was able to open the windows and use the ceiling fan and that was fine. Rating - 3. Great location. We’ll stocked kitchen but weird that there were forks and spoons but no table knives. Deck was great for AM coffee! Overall rating - 3

DON'T STAY HERE
We arrived 10 minutes past the check in time to find the previous renters still in the unit. We had to go to a hotel nearby at which time we learned from the hotel staff that they constantly hear horror stories from people who tried to stay at properties owned/managed by VACASA.

Great Mountain Stay
Easy check in. Tight parking for larger vehicles. Very clean, nicely decorated and plenty of room. Close to many restaurants and activities. Visited nearby brewery and winery. Had great fun at the Hero’s Axe Throwing! Highly recommend staying here!

The unit sleeps 6 but everything else is fit for four people
As soon as we walked in the window blinds fell off. The hot water tank is good for two people taking showers, than we had to wait for more hot water.

Great stay for short Ski trip
Property was great location for skiing and was just as it was listed. Front door could use curtains as it is glass with no covering at all for privacy.

Cozy Little Bungalow
My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The heat worked well and we could see the bunny slope that was a few hundred feet away. The 15 inches of snow over 4 days was a real treat. The ski lodge was very accessible through paths. Make sure you are agile to navigate it. Very Please with our stay! Only thing that did not work was the fireplace. The directions posted did not help and it stated how fragile it was and could damage it. Suggestion: Get that fixed asap so guest can have the Full Experience.
