When you arrive not only will you be blown away by the views by the large stone fireplace in the living room but the 3 decks to enjoy overlooking Grandfather Mountain and small towns below.
A lot of attention to detail for comfort with top of the line mattresses and pillows. Quality linens, cookware, dishes etc.. There is a slow cooker, an Instapot, iron pots and skillets, ceramic iron pots and pans, nonstick omelette and sauté pans, muffin pans, etc. etc. Kitchen is fully equipped!
There are three full length mirrors throughout the townhouse and light-up vanity mirrors. Ironing board, and iron, with hangers in the closets. Shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel are in the showers. Everything you need.
Master bedroom has an E fireplace for added warmth and cozy atmosphere with a large smart TV on a swivel, tilt wall mount. This bedroom also has an 8’ sliding glass doors opening up onto a private deck overlooking grandfather mountain and other amazing views… The master-bathroom has a deep soaking pedestal tub and a large shower for 2.
This house is close to everything. You can walk into town and go to concerts, restaurants, and bars, and to Fred’s Mercantile and grocery store. Close to the Overlook Barn (a wedding venue) and 3-5 minutes to the ski slopes and bike trails. Take advantage of the bike lift in the summertime and of course the skiing from Thanksgiving to March..
Access to Beech Mountain Club (ask me about access)to play golf, tennis, pickleball, classes, pool, gym and exclusive Club dining and visit the pub for local brews and casual food overlooking the 18th hole etc.
Enjoy the Banner Elk just down the mountain.. Winery, museums, live performances, great restaurants and bars, etc.
You can hike or ebike from the townhouse down to the Banner Elk Winery. Hike the many hiking trails with waterfalls and ponds.. it is a peaceful getaway and it’s safe… explore and enjoy the view of deer, bears, incredible views of mountains in every direction..
It is a peaceful area, but if you are looking for more to do it is lively on the weekends with bands, events, street parties, etc. A lot to do at the top of Beech! Check the events calendar when you come up. There are festivals, farmers markets selling local, honey and produce, etc.
The water on the mountain is some of the best water you can drink and most of the produce is local… and Fred’s has the best selection of wine and beer, along with groceries and produce and homemade pies, breads, cakes, and desserts.. it is a must see .. pick up your next pair of hiking boots, or shoes and jackets and clothes at Fred’s. There is a lot to love about Beech Mountain!
