The property was absolutely stunning and even though it was fully booked during our stay it still felt peaceful and quiet like we were the only ones there

Beautiful Villa, Excellent service
I love Villa Maschere. It is so beautiful. But to be a 5 stars hotel, it will need some inside renovation, our room was not to a 5 stars standard. The service is excellent and the staff is very welcoming. I cannot wait for the renovation and will come back.

Like. Good location Dislike. 5 day stay No hot water on 2 of the days TV failed 3 times and unusable until last day. A/c not cool enough Very disappointing. There appears to be many problems with this building. Not the 5 stars we expected. Perhaps living on past reviews. Staff were pleasant but said there were many issues with the hotel! At the moment not value for the money.

Good hotel but a bit far from the city center
The Hotel was upscale and nice. the room could have been a bit cleaner. The hotel was a bit far from the Floreance city center.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel though I was a little surprised by some of the cleanliness issues for a 5-star hotel. Also, we went in May so the pool wasn't open which was unfortunate. Be aware that the hotel is really outside of the excitement of the city so you have to plan on getting away from it all and just relaxing. They have a shuttle to Florence but we weren't able to take it since they depart and return only one time per day, around 9 in the morning and return around 17:30.

Located in a quiet spot
Go here if you looking to be away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots in Tuscany. Hotel is in decent condition, provides lots of space in the common areas. Rooms were a bit hit and miss, especially if you book of a travel agent. Food is good, ample space for walks around the hotel, there is also a little lake nearby. And if you get bored, Florence is only half an hour away.

Nice hotel needs some TLC
The hotel is in the most pleasant surroundings. The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is exceptional. The room size is good. The Air Conditioning is good. The walls need painting. My room and the hotel was full of walls covered in marks. The bathroom had good facilities but again was a bit "grubby". Wi-Fi is terrible. Probably doesn't help being in the middle of no where.
