Very impressed
The hotel was very impressive. Clean, stylish and comfortable rooms. Very nice bar and grill and the food was good. Only 15 minutes to walk to the centre or bus station. Would highly recommend.

Lovely place for a night away
Fresh and clean hotel with the added surprise of a steam room by the pool - the website didn't make this bit clear as just said sauna. Breakfast was pretty basic but we were hungover so happy with anything ;)

Stay anywhere else if you want to sleep
It's a gym with accommodation! Loud music and constant noise from the gym starts at 6am so you don't need an alarm. Check-in is automated so no personal service and don't try to order food to your room unless you have the right app as there isn't anyone you can ask. Poor sleep isn't optional. What staff they do have are very pleasant and do everything they can, this is an American type hotel that lacks character and experience at a high cost. Stay elsewhere unless you want to use the facilities

Fantastic Hotel Experience
Our recent stay at the Village Hotel Basingstoke was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted with outstanding customer service. Every staff member we encountered was not only friendly but also genuinely personable, making us feel incredibly welcome throughout our stay. A special shout-out goes to Zara at the front desk, whose warmth and hospitality set the tone for our visit. The facilities here were top-notch. The health club which included a gym, pool, and sauna is one of the best we've experienced in any hotel. Whether you're looking to work out or relax, you'll find everything you need and more. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, and the rooms are both comfortable and stylish with a modern aesthetic that we loved. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable hotel stay.
