I have driven past the Esplanade since it was built in the 80's (?) and was not prepared for the layout - with the massive, domed communal lounge area on our floor. Our room (1.02) was spotless and had been tastefully renovated / updated recently. If I was to make any comment, I felt the thickness of the toilet paper was thin, and strangely, the large coffee cups didn't fit properly on their saucers.
If I was to make a suggestion, a couple of complimentary bottles of water in the fridge would have been a nice touch.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed the overnight stay and would recommend it to others.
