I got there at 250pm and they stated I would have to wait till check in time to get a room, and it may be a little later than that because housekeeping is a little behind today. I wasn’t able to check in till 5pm. I had to cancel two reservations due to this situation. I asked for any compensation due to the wait and they said there was nothing they could do. This is terrible. The staff was nice but this is bull. I would never book here again

The hotel is outdated. The sofa in the rooms smell awful. We had 2 rooms during the stay. The hotel smells like mold. The furniture in the lobby is also stained. There were no bedding available for the pullout. The staff was wonderful.

Staff was nice. Room had mold and mildew in the bathroom and living area. Carpets and tile floors always wet/damp. Not a healthy environment. Was told no ofher rooms were available. Will never stay here again

We travel to Baton Rouge for business once or twice a year and we've been staying at the Embassy Suites for the last 6 or so visits. We love the location, the hotel layout and rooms, and the breakfast. However, the rooms are starting to show their age. Our ceiling in the bathroom was leaking water due to the AC. The first maintenance person emptied the overflow tray but didn't fix the problem. The next day was the same issue with water all over the bathroom. The 2nd maintenance person fixed it. We probably won't stay here again until they update the rooms.

This is an aging hotel, but the staff was so warm and accommodating that I would pick this hotel for my annual visit again. The pool and hot tub were great. The room service was quick, and their hotel was very busy, but there was no waiting for the wonderful breakfast. They even kept our tables cleaned off.
