It smelled terribly of the kind of moldy smell you get from serious water damage. The carpets and sheets all seemed like they were purchased in 1981 with the main concern in their selection being colours and patterns that would cover up cigarette smoke (lots of beige/brown and rust red old carpets and fleece blankets. It seemed like the towels also smelled awful but that just could have been the overall smell of the room getting to them. In any case I luckily brought my own towel. Room was at the back of the building where the walkway is doors on one side and a narrow strip of grass against a sketchy fence on the other side where some very shady individuals who would ostensibly be guests but seemed like they offer services were hanging around smoking cigarettes. The only positives here are that it's the cheapest place around (which probably explains all the above) and I did not find any bugs in what understandably became a very thorough search before I laid down. If you have no other choice, this is indeed a location with beds you can sleep on.
