Staff were very kind and helpful. Cmon areas are nicely updated although there has been some wear and tear on the pool seating. The main issue was that we were promised free breakfast and the first morning the staff were sick and the second morning the kitchen equipment was sick.This tells me they are understaffed or the staff don’t have the initiative to solve problems. They could’ve just put out pastries, fruit, yogurt and cereal with nothing hot if the oven wasn’t working. We had to drive to get breakfast but that might not work for everyone.

We come to the ALICE once a year every year for our family vacation. The kids and I really enjoy the hotel , the pool is nice, they have bikes you rent to take a bike ride , wagons for you haul to the beach, a beautiful lounge and bar. We will be there again for our 2026 beach trip and we can't wait!!

Had to checkout early because of the hurricane and unfortunately we did not receive a refund for the night we had to cancel because we didn’t leave before 11 AM the day prior (pretty upset about this…) Bar closed early every night, breakfast for a fee?! Pool was decent but the pool chairs had algae on them.

This is a well located hotel in that area. We were gladly surprised at how close is the beach access (walkable) from the hotel. And this is extremely important due to the lack of public parking nearby the shore. The pool was decent and clean and stays open until late (my kids appreciated that). The in-house bar offering was lacking to say the least and the pool towels are extreme,y small and thin. The interior decor and lobby are are fantastic. IMO the price is too high even in the season for what the building has to offer but, overall, was the best we could find. Would I stay there again? Definitely YES, I just wish it wouldn't be that expensive so to add a night or two more in my next visit to explore the area more.

Hotel was great! Staff amazing. Had a few issues with getting our room serviced. Had to keep asking front desk for clean towels. Told front desk Tuesday evening we would be gone (with our dog) for at least 14 hours on Wednesday starting at 5:30am and to service our room. Even had tag on door stating so. Return Wednesday evening and our room was STILL not serviced. Finally serviced on Thursday with fresh sheets and towels. Breakfast is not as expected for $7. Two tiny waffles and a 1/2 apple or 2 tiny egg bites with instant oatmeal. Better off going to diner or Waffle house for the $, quantity, and quality. Very pet friendly with lots of grassy area for dog as well as doggie waste bags. Overall with the misshaps with room servicing, I would still recommend. Beach is within walking distance!
