The Hotel is a great place to stay, I always stay in Residence Inn, however this hotel made me feel like I was in a luxury hotel. You will know the feeling from the second you walk in.

Awesome place, people, location, food, vibe, etc…. Only criticism is: there is dog poop everywhere around the property. Not really the hotels fault. It’s the dog owners who don’t clean up after their dogs.

The room was great. Loved having a kitchen. Although the lid for the ice container was extremely dirty! It had food stuck to it. The pool was great and the gal working the bar area was excellent. I was very disappointed that we had to pay 12.00 a night to park our vehicle in their parking lot. Just a regular parking lot wothout a cover. This was a first for me! I was expecting our car to be washed and shined in the morning since we were paying for our car to be there too.

Awesome stay!
This was our first time staying at the Residence Inn and it was awesome. The room was perfect for our family (myself, wife, and 5yo - 1 bdrm suite), great layout with full kitchen/living area separated from the bedroom/bath. We also loved the location (close to Old Mill but far enough away that there was never traffic or noise) and the indoor pool. The only small issue we had was with towels at the pool.. I took my 5 yo to the pool several nights in a row, admittedly within the last 90 or so minutes before it closed, to find no towels at the towel station. Normally not a huge deal but after being in the snow all day the kid just jumped right into the pool and then I'd be kinda stuck hoping for someone to come by. I ended up just calling the front desk two nights in a row and towels were brought within a few minutes. On the 3rd night we just brought the towels from our room which was good because again, no towels at the station. Awesome pool though! And staff was apologetic and helpful whenever I did call.

The hotel room smelled like pets and men's cologne. The swimming pool had a lot of kids and their parents so there wasn't an opportunity to swim. The workout room was okay until someone brought their little kid in. The last night was awful because there was a youth group in our area of the hotel and the room doors slammed repeatedly throughout the evening, waking me up. I recommend avoiding unless you're a oarent and you have your kuds with you.

The design of the Residence Inn is very pleasing - and brand new is always appealing. But the very long walk from the elevator to our room was not. We were also put off by the smell (like dirty socks) in the bedding - and the fact that there was only one caffeinated coffee packet in the room. But the kicker may have been the "welcoming" front desk attendant who was more like a staff sargeant reciting rules. Finally, breakfast ending at 9AM did not feel like being on holiday. All not what we expected at this price point.

The property itself is well manicured on the outside. The interior of the hotel is modern and tidy. The room was clean and organized. Definitely coming back for another quick getaway.
