Great pool and gym,loved the amenities and different dining options within an affordable price. The recreation areas are great.The room however wasn't as nice: you can hear everything from the room next to you. The kitchenette didn't have any paper towels or dish soap : just disposable paper plates,cups,cutlery. We also had a hard time with the gate for the parking which wasn't working for us .Once you get to the gate it's says tap your room key on the top right corner but thanks to a good samaritan ( who was waiting to exit behind us and tired of waiting) he came to us and showed us you also have to tap on the bottom right : I wish the staff would have explained that to us instead of another guest. Overall was a good experience and highly recommended for families.

The Cabana Bay has impeccable service and immaculate rooms and grounds. The location is perfect for going to the parks. My only teeny tiny complaint from this visit is that we booked this hotel because they usually do a Halloween horror nights experience every year in the rec room. That's the only reason I paid a little more to stay here as opposed to anywhere else. And for some reason they just didn't do it this year. They just had a few decorations in the foyer.

The 2nd year in a row we have stayed here and once again it was a fabulous experience. The dining options are very good and the shuttle service to Universal is excellent. We love the retro vibe but were a little disappointed that the vintage cars were not out the front of the hotel this time. Please bring them back! Although this was just our 2nd stay at Cabana Bay, we already feel very comfortable here and will definitely be back again. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Many amenities for the price
2nd stay in the past 6 months. Plenty of food and drink venue choices. Doesn’t feel overcrowded. Appreciated the use of microwaves and toasters in the diner eating section. Hassle free early checkin both stays. Great pool area. Enjoyed the Coke Freestyle option our entire stay.

I loved everything from the bowling alley to the arcade. The only thing i did not like was that the resort didnt have wash cloths our entire stay. We had to use large hand towels to wash our bodies. I've never been to a hotel who didnt have wash cloths.
