Berlin stay
We were surprised to have such a great experience at the Happy Bed hostel. The linens were clean and fresh as well as the beds and bathroom. We took our own towels so cannot speak about the towels. The breakfast had a variety and was clean all around. The place is worth the price and would stay again. The walk to Alexanderpaltz was not too far. Although getting to the place was a bit scary as the neighborhood was not too clean but upon entering the Happy bed hostel and the rooms felt safe and they were positive contrast to the area where located. Regardless, I recommend as a great place to stay and would stay again.

Budget hostel delivers
The hostel was pleasant enough for the price. Breakfast wasn't greatly varied but it was free for me as an under-27 so I can't complain too much. The U-bahn and S-bahn stops nearby go to pretty much anywhere you'd want to in Berlin, with central Berlin only a couple of stops away

Cheap, comfortable and friendly
This was a very nice hostel, clean rooms friendly staff, kitchen facilities, lounge and a luggage room. No curfew, keycard opens front door after it locks (staff can also be summoned if keycard is lost) It is located between the U-Bahn stop of Hallesches Tor and Möckernbrücke. If you cross the bridge that is right by Möckernbrücke there is a pharmacy and a nice cafe right there. take the U-Bahn to Warschauer Str. and you are close to the East Side Gallery (recommended) and a lot of good cafes and pubs in that area too, also a Lidl there for groceries (walk through the underpass) also connects to S Bahn that will take you you Alexsander Platz and the Hauptbahnhof (main train station) So public transport is not a problem when staying here. Beds are comfortable, if you need they have bedlinens for 2EUR or you can use your own. However, the hostel is right next to the U Bahn so you will hear the trains going until 1am... not loud but just something to consider, earplugs might be a good investment. In fairness it was sunny and hot during my stay so we slept with windows open. PS! All rooms have their own shower and toilet plus there are "extra" toilets on every floor.

Nice, cheap hostel with great transport links
The hostel was easy to find and has three major U Bahn lines from the two stations near it. Only a five minute walk. It's situated a few minutes away from a set of shops and some bars and restaurants as well. The hostel staff were very helpful with directions and our queries and all spoked great English. The room was as expected a bunk type 6 bedroom room. The bathroom felt outdated but was overall okay. However we were promised the room would be cleaned every two days but it never was. Our bathroom bin was never emptied nor was the toilet roll replaced even when we requested it to be at the front desk. The breakfast was lovely especially as it was free for us as we were under 27. The wifi is greatly disappointing. We were only on the second floor and it barely connected and was slow and cut out often when connected. It was only ok on the top floor for breakfast but that was it really. I would stay there again despite its flaws mostly due to its great location

Nice Room and Great Location
This hostel is located in Kreuzberg near the center of Berlin. It is a great location to stay if you want to travel around the city center. It very near to bars and pubs in the Gorlitzer Park area. The hostel itself is very clean and there is a bathroom in every room. In addition you have a locker available without any extra charge. No deposit was required. This hostel was very afforadble and I highly recommend it.
