The hotel lobby looks nice. When we entered our room the smell of cannabis was so strong to the point we had to call, got told to come down to get rooms changed. No problems with the second room. However, the amenities and housekeeping was the biggest issue. Coffee pods were not full to start with. We used the two cups given for coffee, as you’d expect, you’d be given clean ones the next day and coffee/tea refilled. However this wasnt the case we were left with dirty mugs from day one and no coffee. When housekeeping comes round they dont even replace the towels, the same towels were just roughly folded and put on towel drier. Nothing was cleaned not vacuumed or anything. Duvet was just tidied up. We also tried calling reception multiple times however everytime we called no answer. Good location and downstairs area but thats it.

Self check in was not possible as details ‘not recognised’ therefore had to wait for customer services anyway ! Room very good, large & comfortable. Nothing available in room about hotel services, bar/ restaurant times, WI-FI, local area etc. However overall we were happy white the Hotel and would recommend as overall good value. Good location & links to public transport.

We arrived at the hotel and were greeted with the self service checkin. We did not see anyone from the hotel but the checkin service was simple and straight forward. I purchased WiFi with my booking, as offered on Expedia, but the WIFI was free, although slow. We did ask a member of staff at breakfast, but she did not know and we were checking out the following day. The room was modern, spacious and had comfy bed. The shower was leaking as the shower door didn’t shut fully, again, no staff around to report this too. The overall hotel was modern, clean and loads of space. The breakfast had loads of options to cater for all. Worth the extra money for breakfast. Although, it was very very busy at 9am on a Sunday, but there were plenty of tables to choose from. The nearest bus stop is a 2 minute walk and part of the City Sightseeing Hop on/off route which we used. Overall, very limited interaction with the hotel as we didn’t see any staff, hotel was modern and clean and would stay here again.

Enjoyed the size of room for our 6 night stay. Really spacious, able to spread out. Only down side was a lack of storage - my wife had the closet while I spread my clothes over the work desk. Daily room refresh was appreciated

Great stay
Lovely hotel with a great atmosphere ….let down a little by check in process. Felt sorry for staff helping with the checkin as this as the system is clearly problematic. Overall a great stay and would recommend and return.

Everything was great - the welcome staff, the room, the breakfast … all except the male bar managers - they seemed very grumpy, took ages to even acknowledge our existence and then were most affronted that we wanted to order drinks. A shame as this was out of kilter with the rest of the place and staff.
