Very nice and quiet place

A lovely 2 night stay in a country village inn with plenty of parking. We loved the location, our room was clean with a comfy bed, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the food was of good quality. Great for exploring the Northumberland coast, particularly Lindisfarne, Berwick Upon Tweed and Bamburgh Castle - all close by.

Nice place. Good food. Pleasant rooms. Lively atmosphere in the pub. Enjoyable stay.

Room was lovely and cosy, clean and did the job for our two day stay. TV was a bit hit or miss. Only one small mirror in bathroom but no electric socket near the bathroom for drying or straighening hair, mirror in actual bedroom would have been very beneficial.

Stayed here many times and only downside is the older people who have outdated views who stay here . Great access to the Scottish border and Edinburgh and Glasgow

Clean. Friendly , helpful staff. The food in the bar was very tasty . Very handy for the station . Would recommend and stay again.
