The property owner instructs his employees to refuse giving out a manager or superiors contact info. This owner has several hotels in the area all known for overpriced and inhospitable rooms. I wouldn’t recommend even the nicest of these rooms to anyone that I know. Checked. In and walked up to the room to find a filthy closest sized hotel room with a bathtub full of nasty water dirty towels on the floor the bed made but with what looked like fairly new blood on the top sheet and under the fitted sheet almost looked like the bottom of a dumpster The tv was broken and the cord to the refrigerator was cut. There was also a hole cut in the screen and a pile of butts in the window frame Immediately after I went to the desk to refuse those conditions and asked to leave with my refund only to be denied and my only option be leave a sticky note with my name for the manager The desk employee was kind but was given no options After moving rooms 3 times up until 1am we settled on an acceptable room only to find ourselves awaken at 830 am by house keeping Pounding on the door to remind us we must be out by 11. They returned to the door 3 times in that time. Just happy to confirm now that I will never stay there or visit there ever again Hold that man accountable

I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel unless you absolutely have to. The bathrooms were disgusting, and the hotel itself was dingy and dirty. The front desk might shift was awful and was never even at the desk when needed. The pool is nice though, and the slide is fun. One thing not included on their information however is that it’s an additional fee to use the slide on the pool. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff at front desk were super polite. Overall property was clean and a good location. The morning of our stay, the bathroom shower ceiling started leaking. Were unable to shower. Not cool. Management gave us $10 refund. That’s all. Not staying at a Howard Johnson again.

Stopped here on our way to Sturgis. Was an amazing hotel. We had so much fun on the water slide and the hot tub was amazing after such a long ride. Plan on staying again on our way back through to Oregon

The hotel was in a great location for us to see the hot air balloons but the tub was dirty and the slide for the pool was $5 a kid and I have 3 kids.. the breakfast was good but we couldn't bring it to our room.

Friendly staff but horrible environment
The hotel was filthy. It stunk. Nobody cleans it. People there trying to sell drugs. They charge too much for a terrible environment. The lady at the counter was very nice though. The only reason review gets 2 stars is because of the lady’s friendliness.

The room was dirty, especially the floors. We had hardwood floors that were filthy. The hallway carpet was filthy had dirt and debris on the steps. We had to change rooms because our air conditioning wasn't working.

Dont use the toilet paper
Hotel is out dated. It needed to be cleaned. My husband went to ask for an extra blanket and the front desk guy brought it down. I happened to be in the restroom where it felt like you had to fall on the floor to sit on the toilet. I found the toilet paper a what looked like new roll nasty. My husband handed to the desk clerk and all he had to say "Thats great" he didnt apologize for the inconveniences. The beds are hard and you can feel the springs. There are light switches that dont work and they have tried to repaint. Overall decided we would not stay again.

DONT NOT STAY HERE!!! UNSAFE for YOU and ESPECIALLY CHILDREN!! Avoid at ALL COST. OPEN NEEDLES, BLOOD SPLATTER AND STAINS. Booked a non smoking 2 queen bedroom and it smelled it horrible! Urine smells and dirty stained toilets. All pictures they posted about the hotel are not accurate as they advertise. My family and I currently fighting to get a refund. The owner Nasima is so rude and basically told us that it’s not her job to up keep that place and won’t refund us our money. Filed a complaint with local health services and they had multiple complaints. We will be filing more against them.
