First off: there was a broken iron in the room so i could not iron my clothes.Therefore, I had to wear wrinkled clothes.I was not provided with clean towels. It wasn't until the 3rd day and I was the one that had to ask for it. Housekeeping didn't come to my room until I spoke up about it.There was a customer next door to me that played the television very loudly throughout the night. There were also customers that was placing their garbage in front of their door. I also saw a rat running outside in front of the vending machine that was in front of my door. There was steel material edging around the bed so i was hearing the kicking of it from the neighbors. I feel like things at this location need to be put in place. I don't remember seeing place like this bedor.I will never go back there again.

Nice place to stay!
We have gone to this motel many times during the cruising the coast car show. It is a very nice reasonable priced hotel. The people are friendly and courteous. The breakfast was very acceptable. And to our surprise, they had updated the rooms. and they were very, very nice. I can easily recommend this place to stay. The manager was very nice when we could not make it by the time we needed to be there he understood completely.

There were live roaches in our room. Tried to get a refund and they refused because "I didn't tell them within the first 30 minutes of checking in." It took me more than 30 minutes just to get my luggage up the stairs. So they said they would give us a different room. Checked the new room and there were roaches too. The lady at the counter was very rude and denied already charging my card for the late check out fee I had paid for, for the next day and the pet fee. I checked out and left. I still have the $55 missing from my bank account that she lied to Expedia about. Then they had the audacity to charge my card for a random $40 today! When I'm not even at the property!

Took an hour to check in
Had to get 3 different rooms before I had a working air conditioner. The air conditioners were being serviced on the entire floor where I was staying. My bathroom was great and up to date.

Average motel. Front desk clerk at check-in was excellent. Room was just OK. Bed and pillows were very good. Room recently updated, but no coffee maker. TV was one of the worst I have ever seen. Lighting was weird, overly bright wall fixtures and not much else. Windows don't open and room air was musty. Breakfast in lobby was meager and poor. No fresh dairy products other than the yogurt and milk, which I didn't try. Waffle maker, instant oatmeal, cereal, juice and coffee, dry chocolate chip muffins, and sliced bread complete the selection.

This motel saved me from the reeky room at the Econolodge down the street. It's a blue collar clientele, but I felt safe and comfortable - and grateful for a room that didn't smell!

Admittedly, you get what you pay for. At check in, even though I had prepaid with Expedia, they demanded a $50 deposit before giving me a key card. Initially the roon seemed clean enough, although the air freshener was overpowering. My wife was thoroughly disgusted to find herself showering in backed up water with other people's hair floating in it. I delayed showering until next morning but had same experience. Just about most nauseating thing to happen to me in a motel. Then to bed... not sure how to describe the sound the bed made when you sat on it or moved on it. Kind of like when you shake a sheet of metal to simulate the sound of thunder. I was afraid to say anything until I had my $50 back in my hands. Tonight I am staying in a well maintained property in another state, and the contrast only makes last night seem even worse. I stayed across the street at the Baymont last year. Go there, much better
