Everything was great with the hotel. On the final night of our stay my card declined and the bar staff took me to reception where they randomly asked if we had booked our registration in for parking? I replied no? We didnt know we had too? We were not told to on check in? To which a receptionist entered the conversation and said "you would have been told and she then pointed to cards on the desk" she was extremely unprofessional and aarogant! I informed her it was dark when we checked in and we where not inforned by the receptionist at the time. 2 other colleagues of hers apologised. This has resulted in me cancelling next weeks reservation and we have found other arrangements
Terrible sleep. The pillows were lumpy and old, obviously only notice when you put your head down to sleep so too late to complain, walls paper thin so standard phone alarm from next room woke me up at 6am then constant banging of doors, fire escapes used as exits by customers too.
The most uncomfortable bed and pillow I have ever experienced. Booked Dinner, bed and breakfast with very limited choice for dinner. Drinks in bar very expensive. Not up to normal Holiday Inn standard.
The rooom was very cold, the window couldn't be closed because it was broken.
The air-conditioning was releasing cold air whether chosen high pr low temperature.
I tried to complain to front desk staff but they never answer the phone i don't know do it deliberate by not answering guests phone calls or not. I went down to ask some one.for help there was no one at the front desk it was very disappointing
I booked a double room but on arrival I was told they have all finished. I was given a single room instead which I find really unpleasant and unexpected.I am writing to seek a refund regarding this booking.Many thanks.
