At 6.30am the fire alarm went off constantly it didn't worrh the money

The smoke alarm went off night one and night the smoke alarm and fire alarm went off. Bathroom door was hard to open/close. Side exit door by stairwell was broken and had it been a real fire we would not have had an easy way out of the hotel. Air conditioner access vent was broken.

Upon check-in when I went to my assigned room, I noticed the light was on, the curtains were closed, and I could hear the TV on inside. I went back to the front desk and she indicated that was odd, but she would assign a different room and would accompany me to it to ensure it was OK. The room was average, but I could not get any hot water when taking a shower the next morning.

Originally checked us into wrong room. Last room they had available. The room was filthy, it appeared that there was pee on the wall?!? The AC in that room did not work, the temp was 80+ degrees all night. The second night they did move us into the correct type of room. Room was cleaner but the TVs in the room did not work or have remotes. When we asked for remotes they had none. Around 3am an alarm went of throughout the hotel waking up and scarring our children. After all this they would not even accommodate a 1 pm check out or comp a breakfast. We use hotels.com often and stay at this hotel twice a month. Usually great but this stay was unacceptable.

The hotel and staff were great. It is an older hotel but very clean. I would highly recommend if you’re in the area. It’s very close to restaurants, shopping and FAU.

I thought the hotel was cute. I usually do not like hotel where you enter your room from the outside but I did not mind this one. There are some concerns for cleanliness within the room and the shower preasure and hot water was terrible. However, the price was good and the staff was great! I would stay again.
