Good and close to downtown

The location was great, it is an older hotel but it was good to stay in. the breakfast was good as well, it was more than a continental breakfast so was good to get going for the day!

Pictures are deceiving. This hotel is not well maintained, rooms are not clean and in general the place is not in good condition.

Floor at the entrance to the lobby was dirty, as was the lift. The carpet in the corridor was in a terrible condition and had gaffer tape in many places holding it together. The room was pretty tired with signs of wear. The floor of the balcony was dirty and there was nothing to sit on. However, the bed linen was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The lobby itself was very inviting with comfortable seating. There was a pc and printer available for guests to use. I didn’t use the gym or pool so am unable to comment. Overall

Dirty

Lobby smelled liked cigarette smoke because the smoking area is literally right out front the main entrance. Carpets were dirty, torn and miss matched. In our room the mirrors had hand prints on them, 1 put of 5 light Bulbs worked on the ceiling track light. Went to move the ottoman and one of the wheels fell off. Pool was a disgusting green color that made you not even want to try to swim. Breakfast was a $7 add on per person and wasn’t even worth it, rubber eggs, sausage patty oatmeal was the main offering. Parking lot was full of cigarette butts and unkept. The floors in our room were dirty. The bathtub was slippery and there wasn’t a non skid mat. I was told at check in that because we stayed multiple nights the room would only be cleaned upon request. The only decent thing was the beds were semi comfortable.

The property was in poor condition, the carpet on the 2nd story was literally duck taped together. Room needed to be deep cleaned, towels and linens seemed fine, other than there was no skirt to the bed, just open box spring. Dust bunnies, dirty walls, and furniture. Ended up canceling our room. The staff was very nice and helpful. Even asked how they could improve, but most pf it is beyond them. The hotel needs to be renovated.

Don’t recommend staying here

Our room looked like it was never swept or dusted. The bath tub drain was filled full of hair so it wouldn’t drain. And the thermostat fell off the wall in my hand. They put different ones in and left the old ones just sitting in the hole with the electric cut off to it. They put in a new control for the air conditioning and heat but no way to tell what temperature you have it set on. The hallways had a strange odor to them.

The property was a bit run down, but the staff was friendly and very accommodating and helpful. We had to request to be moved to a different room as the air conditioning was not working in our room and it was very uncomfortable. There was also a huge hole in the ceiling where a ceiling vent should have been. The front desk reception was very nice and upgraded us to a better room. Once we got settled - it was fine. The location was good right off of the lively walking mall area where the bars and restaurants were.

Checking in was fine but that was only thing that was good. We went up to the 3rd floor where our room was and the air conditioner wasn't working so the hallway was so hot it was almost unbearable and the floor was extremely dirty. When we went into our room it was dirty the entire floor was sticky the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned and we were expecting that we would have queen sized beds not doubles so it was very uncomfortable since we didn't fit on the beds. My daughter couldn't plug her phone in because the plug next to the bed she was using didn't work and over half the light bulbs were burnt out. The entire experience was awful and I won't be staying at this location again

This hotel was just fine. Super friendly front desk. Bed was clean and really comfortable, sink, toilet, shower not so much. However, I'd stay again for the price we paid.
