Adjustment for room temperature is not individual for rooms. Could not get room to cool down and had to leave door open to try and cool down then had flies in the room.

Not what you might think it is! Beware!

Not what I expected. The place is falling apart. It is very outdated place, carpets in hallways were torn and held together by duct tape, drywall is broken. Room was not very clean. Door is old so you have to slam it. Only thing clean was the bedding and towels. Staff was very friendly though. Water pressure in the shower was good. Toilets a double flusher. Coffee is good.

This place seriously is disgusting and needs to be shut down and condemned. They do not clean, only change sheets and towels. It was absolutely unacceptable!

Staff was absolutely stunning. Any issues we had got instantly resolved! Having amazing conversations and relatable times with staff allowed an easy and homely stay for our week at the red lion. Each person was personal and if a situation were to raise it was instantly resolved!

Ac did not work in one whole building. Had to Move rooms three times to get ac. Phone in room did not work. Sinks don’t drain. Hall ways and facilities so run down. Has to buy air freshers just to sleep as smell was awful.

This was the second time we stayed here during family week at BSU. The first time was okay, nothing fancy. This time, I had a hole in the wall where the thermostat was supposed to be, no dead bolt-only broken pieces on the door frame, the carpet in the hallway was duct taped together and so bumpy it was difficult to walk on, there was no phone or alarm clock, the hot water handle fell off the knob, many burnt out light bulbs, and there was lots of mystery "artwork" on the ceiling. The one plus was that the bed and pillows were comfy.

Staff was nice but never at front desk. The hotel was so outdated and falling apart. Okay if you are on a budget but not even worth the price. Pool was closed, carpets were dirty. Footprints & handprints all over mirror & wall. Only saving factor is the location is good.

We were on the second floor. I heard there had been a fire so the hallway carpet was bad, but the rooms looked like they were from the 90s...everything was very outdated The whole hotel needs updated. There also was no air conditioning in room 225 and the water didnt drain from the tub.

When I checked in, there was no thermostat on the wall. The temperature was not bad but at 3 am I woke up and it felt like it was 80 degrees. I went to the lobby at 430 am to ask for a different room. The front desk was apologetic and offered me a a key for a new room. I went to check it out and the thermostat was broken and felt like 80 degrees. Went back for another room and found the same thing. The third room finally had a working thermostat. As for cleanliness, the room was not bad but the window sills had so much dust I was afraid to open the window and spread it around the room. The hallway carpets all had tape on them up and down the hallway to keep people from tripping. It is a great location and staff was friendly. They just need some renovations and the Red Lion would be back to how I remember it.

My sheets were dirty, the thermostat in my room was working, my TV didn't work had to have them come fix it couldn't get channels,. No phone to call down to mthe front desk. No bed skirts and ceiling had huge water satins. Couldn't sit in the chair. Very disappointed for the price

The single thing that stood out as positive about this property was the friendliness of the staff. I spoke with multiple front desk employees and they were great! Overall the property looks run down, inside and out. We joked about how loud the elevator was when we took it up to our room, but it was no longer funny when we had to listen to it all night long when it woke us up. Upon arrival I wanted to watch TV to decompress but it would not turn on, I called the front desk and I know they were busy so i told them not to worry about it until the next day. The next morning when I got ready for the day I got my drink out of the fridge and it was room temp. When I arrived back at my room that night both the TV and the fridge were working. There was a giant heap of linens piled in the hall outside my door overnight, not sure if they were dirty or clean but it doesn't matter because it shouldn't have been left there.
