Don’t recommend staying here

Our room looked like it was never swept or dusted. The bath tub drain was filled full of hair so it wouldn’t drain. And the thermostat fell off the wall in my hand. They put different ones in and left the old ones just sitting in the hole with the electric cut off to it. They put in a new control for the air conditioning and heat but no way to tell what temperature you have it set on. The hallways had a strange odor to them.

The property was a bit run down, but the staff was friendly and very accommodating and helpful. We had to request to be moved to a different room as the air conditioning was not working in our room and it was very uncomfortable. There was also a huge hole in the ceiling where a ceiling vent should have been. The front desk reception was very nice and upgraded us to a better room. Once we got settled - it was fine. The location was good right off of the lively walking mall area where the bars and restaurants were.

Checking in was fine but that was only thing that was good. We went up to the 3rd floor where our room was and the air conditioner wasn't working so the hallway was so hot it was almost unbearable and the floor was extremely dirty. When we went into our room it was dirty the entire floor was sticky the shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned and we were expecting that we would have queen sized beds not doubles so it was very uncomfortable since we didn't fit on the beds. My daughter couldn't plug her phone in because the plug next to the bed she was using didn't work and over half the light bulbs were burnt out. The entire experience was awful and I won't be staying at this location again

Front desk service was extremely good room was above average. The hotel seems to be under construction as the hallways need refurbished dramatically overall, it was worth the money spent.

I have stayed here several times renting a king room. It was clean and no problems. This last time I had my daughter with me so I rented two queen room which is on the other wing of the motel. It was horrible. We were showed 3 different rooms and none of them felt clean, the shower's either didn't have a curtain that stayed up, one didn't have a water nozzle to even turn the water on. the carpet in the halls were torn and tapped together. All the floors were dirty. We left but still got charged. Now I have to get the charges off my credit card.

Not clean & A/C didn’t work

The hotel was not clean and the air conditioning did not work. The box springs under the mattress were completely flat and exposed with no bed skirt. The temperature control for the room was broken. The ceiling in the shower was bubbling and peeling due to no fan in the bathroom. The hallway leading to the rooms were dirty and had not been vacuumed in awhile.

The room that I got wasn’t as clean as it should be. The floors didn’t looked like it was cleaned and there were trash behind the TV. There was left over drinks in the fridge. The staff is helpful.

Dead lion Inn

This hotel is very run down. A/c broken was not advised at check in. We checked right out. They use this hotel to shelter the homeless and it is in horrendous conditions. Smells, duct tape carpet…you get the idea.
