All in all, the property itself is not bad. However, we walked into our room and there was a very strong smell of chlorine. Another thing I didn’t see on the listing is that this is a pet friendly hotel and they don’t have any rooms that are “pet free”. I probably wouldn’t recommend if you have bad allergies.

We had reservations to stay the night before my husband had surgery. We got to the room, and the smell of urine met us. It didn't appear that the room had been cleaned, other than the bed was made. Our shoes stuck to the floor as we walked on it, there was hair all over the shower, and blood on the toilet seat. My husband needed a clean environment prior to surgery. We went to the hostess and explained this. She just said ok, didn't offer to move us to another room, nor even apologize or offer to refund our money. We chose to not stay here as it wasn't safe prior to surgery. At 11:00 at night we had to find another place to stay. If I could give 0 stars for this motel I would!

The worst!!!
I booked this hotel room because it was close to the hospital where I was scheduled to have surgery on friday. I laid in bed and listened to what sounded like a party next door to my room for a good two hours. I then decided to call the front desk and make it complaint but the phone was not even plugged into the wall. I looked up the hotel's phone number and decided to call down from my personal cell phone. It rang and rang. So then I dial the 800 number for reservations. Thinking I could do get a person. The person that I got was a reservation agent who said she would call our front desk. She too could not get anybody on the phone. Just about the time I was getting my clothes on to go downstairs and find Somebody. The party kids next door were in the hallway. I stepped out into the hall and told them they needed to keep it down, there were people trying to sleep. They were just being drunk and obnoxious while getting into the elevator. So I thought maybe it was going to quiet down. But then the dog they left in the room alone decided to start howling and crying. I decided to go down upstairs and find someone to help. I realized the 2 gentlemen were out in front of the hotel in the hotel desk. Clerk was nowhere to be found. When I finally did find her she did nothing but say she could offer them a warning. In Samsung I was the only one that complained about them. My complaint wasn't valid. Amaya needs to learn a little more about customer service! This place sucks. Don't stay

It’s a run down hotel… Close to the strip clubs, and perhaps that’s the clientele… I don’t know… but clean enough and cheap enough that it’s worth soliciting because it’s close to downtown…
