Pros: Off the beaten path. Cool Mountain rooms that look like cabins on the inside. Ok View. Affordable.
Cons: Older Rooms.

Property was alright but a little run down. Bed was comfortable. Internet was poor.
Ants ruins food and wasp fell out of the bathroom exhaust fan. I expected older feel but it’s not kept up. Ladders in the bushes and over growth around buildings has made it a bug haven. Ruined a $40 pizza with ants and wasn’t excited about the wasps coming out of the exhaust fan. When I told the receptionist she said “ oh wow” clearly didn’t care and wasn’t shocked as the statement might lead you to believe.
The property overbooked, so we did not receive the two queen beds as booked - instead there was a rollout cot. An $11 discount was applied, but we definitely wanted the second bed over the discount. The walls are very thin, and we heard the neighbors throughout the night. The property is more rundown than the pictures indicate. The staff is very friendly at least.
While a nice place in the area, it is very old and in need of major overhauls. The bathroom sink leaked and the floor was buckled, the shower head was jet powered and when you bumped it, it sprayed water out of the fittings. The overall decor was dated well into last century .
The smell of marijuana was strong coming down from other guests.
Staff was awesome - wish the facility could meet their attitude.
Expedia listing said three bedrooms. Property only had 1.5 bedrooms which wasn't good enough. Turns out they only gave us part of the property and there was another part.locked up. We called the manager and eventually worked it out and got the keys to the other property. It was dirty and dated. Wouldn't stay there again
The grounds around the hotel are really nice. If you have a dog, in the back there is room to run for them. It was pretty quiet and it was really easy to navigate. Beds were clean, however there was a pillow in the closet with hair from a dog all over it.
The down side was that the facility has not been updated in many many years. There was a yellow jacket infestation on the back porch and we had to move the chairs to the front porch where you sat out in the open and had to see the people coming in and out. The lamp had no light in it and the shade was filthy with weird stains. The bathroom was really small and the toilet was located right in the middle of the bathroom. No vending, if you want ice you have to go all the way to the front office and if you are located in the back it's quite a hike. Front staff was relatively friendly.
The cabins are definitely by themselves. Our cabin had an old waterbed frame with mirrors above the bed. Made for interesting conversation with 2 just out of college kids. Haha. Would for sure stay again staff was very friendly and check in was quick and easy.

Carpet felt sticky and the toilet seat was all beat up. Looked like the original seat. Could use some updating for the price per night. Staff was great and the jacuzzi was a vibe.
Room not what photos indicated. Not well lit, rug in front of fire place ragged, must odor. Cannot recommend. We actually did not spend the night . Checked out and received 1/2 of our money back which I thought was fair as we had used commode. Really didn’t care for mirrors over the bed. Not prudish just thought it was tacky.
This had to be the absolute worst place I’ve ever spent the night in my life!! I wish I had taken more pictures. If I would’ve had the money to stay somewhere else I would’ve left! Cobwebs with spiders attached. Torn wallpaper and insulation hanging out between the “log cabin” wall and ceiling!! The lighting was so dim you couldn’t see anything. The light bar in the bathroom was rusty and only had two burning bulbs. One burnt out and the other was just a dark rust hole that probably led to hell! The exhaust fan didn’t work nor did the light and it was thick and caked with nasty dusty stuff. Half of the locks didn’t work. Oh and the carpet. I wouldn’t let the grandchild walk on it will bare feet and neither did we!! Dropped an article of clothing by accident and it stuck to the carpet. Gross is an understatement!! I wouldn’t recommend anything about this place but it should be condemned!! Stayed one night to take the baby to Tweetsie then left and drove home. Wasn’t about to sleep twice there!!
